To diligently and completely settle down, to generate intention and strive to abandon the sinful and non-virtuous dharmas that have arisen, to diligently practice, to completely settle the mind, and to completely settle down; also to believe in emptiness in all dharmas, to generate intention and strive to generate the good dharmas that have not yet arisen, to diligently practice, to completely settle the mind, and to completely settle down; also to have faith in the liberation of all dharmas, to generate intention and strive to make the good dharmas that have arisen abide, not decline, and increase and expand, to diligently practice, to completely settle the mind, and to completely settle down, and also to see that all dharmas are without creation and without distraction. Moreover, in that equality, there is no arising of any dharma, nor is there cessation. This is the true practice of renunciation. The practice of the four miraculous legs will be completely accomplished. What is the practice of the miraculous legs? That is, the body and mind are capable. This mind is capable, and the intention for virtuous dharmas is not abandoned, and one strives to abandon the attachment of desire, and one also diligently practices to fully ripen all sentient beings, and one also observes that all dharmas are unattainable, and in order to fully realize enlightenment with all the Buddha's dharmas, one does not abandon the mind of enlightenment, and one also fully understands that the mind is like an illusion, and one reflects properly on the dharmas as heard, and one does not abide in the dharmas, and there is no attachment. Thus, the practice of the five faculties will be completely accomplished. One does not rely on the six faculties, and in order to fully ripen the faculties of all sentient beings, one also abandons knowledge, and one will also attain abiding in one object, and one does not follow the faith of others, and one also completely obtains everything, and there is no taking or abandoning, and there is no confusion on all the paths one travels, and there is no recollection, and there is no attention, and one also follows all dharmas, and one constantly abides in equality, and one enters into the equality of all dharmas, without dimness.

Also, the light of wisdom is obtained, and the elaboration and views are completely cut off. This is the complete meditation on its basis. Thus, the five powers will be completely cultivated. Possessing the power of faith, one is not shaken by all external opponents. With the power of diligence, it is difficult to be overcome by all demons. With the power of mindfulness, one is not robbed by the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas. With the power of Samadhi, one is not suppressed by the obscurations. Possessing the power of wisdom, one has no attachment to what is seen. Thus, the five powers are completely cultivated. Thus, the seven limbs of enlightenment will be completely cultivated. What is the cultivation of the limbs of enlightenment? It is like this: In order not to forget all virtuous dharmas, one cultivates the limb of right mindfulness. In order to be in accordance with dependent origination, one cultivates the limb of right discrimination of dharmas. In order not to regress from the path of enlightenment, one cultivates the limb of right diligence. In order to fully experience the joy brought by the undefiled dharma, one cultivates the limb of right joy. In order to be free from the agitation of body and mind, one cultivates tranquility as a limb of right enlightenment. In order to realize emptiness, signlessness, and wishlessness, one cultivates the limb of right Samadhi. In order to cultivate equanimity without high or low, one cultivates the limb of right equanimity. This is called the cultivation of the limbs of enlightenment. Friends, a Bodhisattva with mindfulness can completely cultivate the Noble Eightfold Path with little effort. What is the cultivation of the path? It is to cultivate the right view that is free from permanence and annihilation; to cultivate the right thought that is free from desire, hatred, and harmful thoughts; to cultivate the right speech that does not harm oneself and others; to cultivate the right livelihood that is free from hypocrisy, flattery, obsequiousness, and measuring with gain.
