Children! Those who abandon meaningless lives will utterly fall into the great cliff of evil. These beings destroyed by pride and ignorance are like birds that have not seen the other shore of the ocean. Attached to the five senses like flames of iron, children will burn intensely and wander everywhere. These children are intoxicated and extremely foolish, like thinking that non-crystal is a supreme vessel. Those who are completely deluded on the path, for the sake of desire, always clamor: "Abide here, this is prosperity." Because they cannot distinguish various forms, all beings decline, lacking respect. Towards fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters, they do not actually make offerings, and obtain harm. They are always immersed in speech that describes intimacy with women, and thoroughly engage in such behavior. They accumulate the net of ignorance and sins, and also accumulate the path to falling into the lower realms. People are attached to this, thinking it is happiness, and even completely abandon their parents. They do not make offerings to those worthy of offerings, but rely on desires that should be rebuked. They are devoted to tormenting each other, and are completely destroyed by the edge of conceptual thoughts, people are full of afflictions. They delight in completely seeking respect, and things that are not excellent, and thoroughly lead the world into what is not Dharma. From that basis, weapons and iron tools arise, as well as bondage, fighting, and disputes. They will surely experience the intense suffering of death, and after death, fall into the unbearable Avici Hell. In this life, they will also suffer similarly, wealth will decline, and cherished things will be completely destroyed. Because the heavens decline and they utterly fall into hell, which wise person would generate thoughts of desire? In the midst of a blue forest made of iron, it is easy for a wise person to completely abandon himself. It is easy for a clever person to be cut by the blade of a razor, and it is easy to sleep among swords. It is easy to hold a fiercely burning torch, and it is also easy to swallow burning iron balls. It is easy to touch terrifying fire pits, but in no way should one touch a woman with both hands.

People cling to desires in whatever way they do, and in that very way, they completely abandon all happiness. Like this, all desires are suffering and impure, so one should completely abandon desires, suffering, and impurity. Desire is the root of all suffering, because wealth is wasted, and it is the root of the decline of beautiful people, so one must rely on women, which will lead to harm. Any man who understands such a teaching will not be too indulgent towards women. He will always purify the path to the heavenly realms, and it will not be difficult for him to attain supreme enlightenment. Great king, moreover, people's parents are those who work hard. They carry the child in their womb for nine or ten months, raise them with great suffering, wipe away their urine and feces, hold them in their arms and feed them milk, make their bodies grow, nourish their elements, show them the world, and show them the various Jambudvipa. They want the child to be meaningful, they want the child to benefit, they want the child to be successful and happy, and they also want the child to be beneficial to the world, they are the objects of generosity. Because they want their son to benefit and be happy, they use their wealth to take the daughter of another family from another's house. Then, they are attached to, infatuated with, obsessed with, and faint with that woman, especially clinging to her, and they are content in that state. Because they are attached to and infatuated with the woman they took from another's house, they despise their parents, who are the objects of generosity, who are old and frail, whose bodies are weak, and whose eyes are blind, making them without enjoyment, without wealth, and driving them out of their own homes. Great king, like this, those who please their parents should constantly and continuously respect, honor, serve, and make offerings to these objects of generosity with true happiness. If someone drives their parents out of their house, but treats, respects, cherishes, serves, and makes offerings to the woman they took from another's house with food, drink, and clothing, and treats her with true happiness, but does not do so to their parents, such a person is without love and uncaring.
