said. Omniscient, what is true? If you ask if I know your thoughts, by this true word, the Able One abides before me. After saying these words, the earth shook violently. Twelve hundred thousand Bodhisattvas, as well as practitioners, gods, nagas, and hundreds of thousands of Indra and Brahma gazed ahead. Having seen such a miraculous transformation, at that time, the world held a rare thought. The king, along with his army and ministers, prostrated at the feet of the Teacher. There, thousands of beings made offerings to the Teacher. Having made offerings to the Complete Perfect Buddha, they poured their hearts into the pursuit of Bodhi. Then, the determined poor man of the city bowed his head at the feet of the Bhagavan and circumambulated the Bhagavan seven times, and spoke as follows: Bhagavan, while wandering in this Shravasti, I obtained a priceless jewel, and I thought: I will offer it to the poorest person in Shravasti. I also thought: King Prasenajit (Tibetan transliteration: gsal rgyal) is the poorest of all, because he plunders the wealth of others, so he is never satisfied. He toils for fields, so he is never content. The enjoyment of others cannot satisfy him. He is very arrogant towards those who suffer, makes happy people downcast, makes poor people even poorer, destroys the rich, is extremely addicted to pleasure, and is bound by the king's enjoyment and greed. I thought, if I offer it to him, he will not accept it, and will also say: I am poor, you are rich, what right do you have? Therefore, Bhagavan, you are equal to all beings, without partiality, without hatred, defilement, and anger. Please, Bhagavan, give a good prophecy on this matter. Bhagavan
