Homage to the one who is manifestly realized through the complete play of names! Homage to the Tathagata manifestly realized through the complete play of lotus light rays! Homage to Wealth and Glory! Homage to the Glory of Memory! Homage to the Glory of Names, Highly Proclaimed! Homage to the King of the Banner of the Sovereign's Crest! Homage to the Glory of Thorough Subjugation! Homage to the one who is supremely victorious in battle! Homage to the one who departs through subjugation! Homage to the Glory of Arranging All Illumination! Homage to the one who thoroughly subdues the precious lotus! Homage to the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Complete Buddha, King of Mountains who has fully entered the precious lotus! All those Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Complete Buddhas who reside and live in all the ten directions of the world, may all those Buddhas, Bhagavadatas, consider me. Whatever sinful deeds I have committed in this life, and in other lives in samsara from beginningless time, or caused others to commit, or rejoiced in their commission; or stolen the property of stupas, or the property of the Sangha, or the property of the Sangha of the four directions, or caused others to steal, or rejoiced in their stealing; or committed the five inexpiable sins, or caused others to commit, or rejoiced in their commission; or engaged in taking up the path of the ten non-virtuous actions, or caused others to engage, or rejoiced in their engagement; whatever karmic obscurations have obscured me, causing me to go to the hells, or to the realm of animals, or to the realm of pretas, or to be born in a borderland, or to be born as a barbarian, or to be born among the long-lived gods, or to become deficient in faculties, or to hold wrong views, or to not rejoice in the appearance of Buddhas, all those karmic obscurations, before the Buddhas, Bhagavadatas, who have become wisdom, have become eyes, have become witnesses, have become measure, knowers, seers, I confess and reveal them all. I will not conceal them. And in the future, I will restrain myself.

Thus I act. May the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, be mindful of me. Whatever generosity I have made in this life, and in other lives in samsara without beginning or end, even giving a mouthful of food to an animal; whatever root of virtue from the precepts I have kept; whatever root of virtue from abiding in pure conduct; whatever root of virtue from maturing all sentient beings; whatever root of virtue from my bodhicitta; whatever root of virtue from my unsurpassed wisdom—all of these I gather, combine, and sum up into one, and with the supreme, the unsurpassed, the most excellent of the excellent, I dedicate them to unsurpassed, perfect, complete enlightenment. Just as the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, of the past dedicated, just as the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, of the future will dedicate, just as the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, of the present are now dedicating, so too do I dedicate. I confess all misdeeds, I rejoice in all merit, I pray to all the Buddhas, may my wisdom become the supreme of the unsurpassed. To all the supreme among humans, the Victorious Ones, whether abiding now, or those who have passed away, and those who have not yet come, to all those whose qualities are praised, boundless as the ocean, I join my palms in reverence and draw near for refuge. Shariputra, Bodhisattva Mahasattvas should purify all sins with the mental application possessed by all the Tathagatas, such as the thirty-five Buddhas. Thus, after purifying all sins, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, also show their faces closely only for the sake of liberating sentient beings. Likewise, in order to mature the deluded childish ordinary people, although they show various kinds of words, they do not move from the realm of Dharma, and they cause sentient beings who have various inclinations to follow their inclinations.

And also, in order to be liberated as seen, he also perfected the aspiration. Shariputra, when a Bodhisattva Mahasattva abides in the samadhi of great compassion, in order to fully ripen sentient beings, he shows the realms of sentient beings in hell, the birth place of animals, the world of Yama, and the realm of Asuras. When a Bodhisattva Mahasattva abides in the samadhi of great adornment, in order to fully ripen sentient beings, he shows the form of a householder. When a Bodhisattva Mahasattva abides in the supreme samadhi, in order to fully ripen sentient beings, he shows the form of a Chakravartin. When a Bodhisattva Mahasattva abides in the samadhi of fierce glory, in order to fully ripen sentient beings, he shows the form of Indra and Brahma. When a Bodhisattva Mahasattva abides in the samadhi of one-pointedness, in order to fully ripen sentient beings, he shows the form of a Shravaka. When a Bodhisattva Mahasattva abides in the samadhi of pure non-duality, in order to fully ripen sentient beings, he shows the form of a Buddha. When a Bodhisattva Mahasattva abides in the samadhi of peace, in order to fully ripen sentient beings, he shows the form of a perfectly enlightened Buddha. When a Bodhisattva Mahasattva abides in the samadhi of mastering all dharmas, in order to fully ripen sentient beings, he shows forms according to their wishes. Shariputra, thus, noble beings, in order to fully ripen sentient beings, sometimes show the form of Indra, sometimes the form of Brahma, sometimes the form of a Chakravartin, but they do not waver from the realm of Dharma. Why is that? For example, a Bodhisattva is for the sake of fully ripening sentient beings.
