Samadhi, wisdom, liberation, and the vision of the wisdom of liberation are also the characteristics of non-action." Then, the monks Dharma and Good Dharma said to the monks and gods: "Friends, can action worship non-action?" The monks and gods said: "It cannot." The monks Dharma and Good Dharma said: "Friends, therefore, do not be attached to yourselves, and that will be worship." For those who understand the Buddha, even the Buddha is not seen, so what need is there to mention the act of worship? It is nowhere to be found. Furthermore, those who wish to worship the Tathagata should worship themselves. The monks and gods said: "How should those who wish to worship the Tathagata worship themselves?" The monks Dharma and Good Dharma said: "Friends, just as the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Enlightened One, has made himself worthy of being worshiped by all sentient beings through worship, so should you worship yourselves. As the Tathagata has taught, so should you learn, and you should not be arrogant after learning. You should thoroughly distinguish the Dharma, and after thoroughly distinguishing it, you should not contemplate any Dharma. When you worship yourselves in this way, then you will also be worshiping the Tathagata, and you yourselves will become worthy of worship. Those who wish to worship the relics of the Tathagata should worship themselves. As the Tathagata has worshiped himself, so should you worship, and you should accomplish those qualities with which the relics of the Tathagata have attained worship. Whoever has no cessation, no permanence, whoever has no grasping, no abandoning, that is the offering to the Tathagata.
