is the root of virtue of a Bodhisattva. Obtaining the wisdom of dharani is the root of virtue of a Bodhisattva. The root of unwavering courage is the root of virtue of a Bodhisattva. The root of obtaining clairvoyance and knowledge is the root of virtue of a Bodhisattva. The root of making the Buddha-field completely pure is the root of virtue of a Bodhisattva. The root of blessing to go to the heart of enlightenment, and Reciting three times, the root of turning the twelve aspects of the wheel of Dharma is the root of virtue of a Bodhisattva. When Manjushri Kumara explained these three foundations of meaning, the entire assembly gave their approval, saying "Excellent!" and scattered various flowers upon the Blessed One and Manjushri Kumara, proclaiming, "Wherever Manjushri Kumara resides in a Buddha-field, know that two Tathagatas have appeared there." Those beings who, upon hearing the teachings of Manjushri Kumara, do not fear, are not frightened, and do not panic, do not possess a root of virtue with true meaning. They have not blocked all the works of Mara. They also said that it is obtaining the appearance of this Mahayana. They will not be frightened by other miracles. Why is that? Son of the gods, for example, to beings who perceive permanence, to teach impermanence; to those who perceive happiness, to teach suffering; to those who perceive self, to teach no-self; to those who perceive beauty, to teach ugliness; to those who perceive reality, to teach non-reality; and to the view of
