Nor does he think, 'I have taught the Dharma in this way,' nor does he observe that beings have been liberated. Lightning-born, for example, the dragon king of the Anavatapta lake, by the power of his karma, causes four great rivers to flow from his palace, so that beings living on water and land are cooled in the hot season of summer, and the moisture causes flowers and fruits to grow, and grains to increase, making many beings very happy. However, the dragon king does not think, 'I have caused these rivers to flow,' or 'I will cause them to flow.' Nevertheless, the four rivers always flow and cause beings to enjoy them. Similarly, the bodhisattva, by the power of his previous perfect aspirations, teaches the four noble truths with effortless wisdom, eliminating all suffering in samsara, and bestowing the bliss of noble liberation upon gods and humans. However, the bodhisattva does not think, 'I have taught the Dharma,' or 'I will teach it.' Nevertheless, he naturally abides in the thought of great compassion, and individually examines beings and teaches the Dharma according to their needs. Furthermore, Lightning-born, for example, Indra, the lord of the gods, has twelve kotis of nayutas of goddesses. By the power of Indra's own power, they manifest many bodies, and these goddesses enjoy perfect sensual pleasure with him. Each of them thinks, 'Only I am playing with Indra today.' However, in reality, Indra has no attachment to this. Similarly, the bodhisattva, for those beings who are suitable to be tamed, causes their minds to mature as they wish. However, the bodhisattva has no attachment to this. Furthermore, Lightning-born, for example, when the orb of the sun rises on the top of a high mountain, its light illuminates the entire Jambudvipa. In the places where it illuminates, various colors appear, such as blue, yellow, red, and white.

Although teaching is shown, the solar circle is of one color, one light, without different characteristics. Likewise, Bodhisattvas illuminate the realm of Dharma with the circle of the sun of wisdom, and when appearing on the peaks of sentient beings' attachments, they become the single object of focus, and teach the Dharma according to their wishes, but in the realm of Dharma there is no dualistic characteristic. Electric empowerment, this is called the treasure of the desire practices of Bodhisattvas and Mahasattvas. Any Bodhisattva who obtains this treasure can, for a kalpa or more, show limitless bodies according to the various wishes of sentient beings, and teach the Dharma with various words, but in the realm of Dharma there is no dualistic characteristic. Furthermore, like electric empowerment, for example, pure gold, through the skillful techniques of a goldsmith, is made into various ornaments as desired, and although the characteristics are different, there is no difference in the nature of gold. Likewise, Bodhisattvas, having thoroughly mastered the realm of Dharma, show limitless bodies according to the various wishes of sentient beings, and teach the Dharma with various words, but in the realm of Dharma there is no dualistic characteristic. This is called constantly entering the realm of Dharma and becoming a single characteristic. Any Bodhisattva who obtains such a treasure, for the sake of sentient beings, teaches the Dharma in various ways, and those who hear the Dharma, by the power of hearing the Dharma, become wealthy with the abundance of noble wealth, thereby completely abandoning the defilements of samsara forever. Furthermore, like electric empowerment, what is the treasure of the anger practices of Bodhisattvas and Mahasattvas? For example, sentient beings have characteristics similar to pride, clinging to self and what belongs to self, abiding in the characteristics of self and what belongs to self, and for a long time have not cultivated love and patience, and have destroyed their own minds with the pain of hatred,

Even if they do not remember the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, and are covered by the poison of hatred and ignorant of the nature of reality, the Bodhisattva will never generate harmful thoughts or annoyance towards those beings with strong hatred. He thinks: "Alas! These beings are deluded by ignorance, and because they are contrary to the nature of reality, which is extremely peaceful, tranquil, without stain or defilement, without union, without contention, and extremely serene from the beginning, they increase their irrational hatred and resentment." The Bodhisattva only thinks in this way. After thinking in this way, he abides in great compassion, constantly blames himself and confesses. Even if someone were to cut off his limbs, the Bodhisattva would abide in patience in order to tame those beings who practice hatred. If those immeasurable beings who practice hatred turn their backs on each other, and due to the completion of the karma of hatred and resentment, fall into the body of evil destinies like venomous snakes, then the Bodhisattva who abides in patience will tame these beings with the power of love and mindfulness, so that they do not bear the ripening of evil destinies, and effortlessly realize equality. This is called the Bodhisattva skillfully eliminating the hateful behavior of beings. Furthermore, the Bodhisattva who has attained supernatural powers, if he sees hateful beings, thinks: "All dharmas are naturally pure, alas! These beings follow hatred, generate irrational thoughts, and therefore generate hatred towards the nature of reality, which is equal and without contention. These beings have not realized the nature of the Dharmadhatu. If these beings realized the nature of reality, they would not generate harmful thoughts towards others. Because they have not realized the nature of the Dharmadhatu, they generate hatred." The Bodhisattva speaks in this way to those with strong hatred.
