Homage! You delight in taming and giving, and all virtuous deeds, You possess compassion and loving-kindness for all sentient beings, To the supremely compassionate one, I prostrate. You destroy the assembly of evil speech, You roar like a lion in the assembly, You are the king of physicians, dispelling the three poisons, To you, the supreme source of joy, I prostrate. For beings who are frightened by the eight inner afflictions such as desire, You constantly watch over them, Completely liberating the eight Sugata-garbha beings, You act like an unparalleled physician. Suppressing birth, old age, sickness, death, and sorrow, Separated from suffering, uttering cries of lamentation, You constantly observe the sick beings, The Able One completely liberates and guides them with compassion. Among the beings in the animal, preta, and hell realms, All beings revolve like the wheel of a chariot. The foolish have no refuge, no protector, You show them the supreme path. The path shown by the supreme, incomparable one, That noble path, the former, The master of Dharma, the benefactor of beings, All the victorious ones have proclaimed. The gentle, soft, and supremely pleasing one, More delightful than Brahma, The chief of Gandharvas, Kinnaras, and goddesses, You speak, overwhelming all sounds. By generating faith in the incomparable you, one will become the lord of the four continents, a Chakravartin. For sentient beings who open up the ten virtues, one will obtain the seven most excellent jewels. By making offerings to you, the victorious king, one will become Brahma, Indra, the lord of the world, as well as the lord of the Tushita heaven, and the Paranirmitavasavartin and Akaniṣṭha heavens. You eliminate the various sufferings of sentient beings, making offerings to the incomparable you, seeing you, and hearing you also have the same result, one will be able to obtain the supreme state of no old age and death. Bhagavan (Tibetan: བཅོམ་ལྡན་, Sanskrit Devanagari: भगवन्, Roman transliteration: bhagavan, meaning: Possessing fortune), skilled in the path and knowing the path, can turn this world away from the evil path. Bhagavan (Tibetan: བཅོམ་ལྡན་, Sanskrit Devanagari: भगवन्, Roman transliteration: bhagavan, meaning: Possessing fortune) can place sentient beings on the supreme path, peaceful and free from defilements. Treasure of merit, you are the act of merit for those seeking merit, constantly without懈怠, until the supreme Bodhi is not obtained, one will not懈怠 for countless kalpas. Constantly rejoicing like Paranirmitavasavartin, one will be able to obtain complete purity and beauty. With body, speech, and mind, sentient beings can be completely purified. Offering to the victorious king, people can therefore obtain many merits. One will be able to obtain heavenly liberation, human and divine bliss, and the treasure of merit for all sentient beings. Your name and fame are extremely vast, spreading to many Buddha lands in all directions. The garland of praise of you, the victorious king, is constantly proclaimed among the retinue of all Sugatas. Free from plagues and diseases, liberating sentient beings, joyful upon seeing, possessing supreme great compassion. Bhagavan (Tibetan: བཅོམ་ལྡན་, Sanskrit Devanagari: भगवन्, Roman transliteration: bhagavan, meaning: Possessing fortune), self-empowered, peaceful, and joyful, supreme among humans, I prostrate to you. After I heard the teachings of you, the victorious king, I obtained the five superknowledges and abide in the sky. I will become like the hero Sugata, distinguishing the stainless Dharma for sentient beings. Sugata, worshiped by gods, humans, and nagas, having perfected all qualities, now praising you, with the vast merit accumulated thereby, may all sentient beings attain Buddhahood. From that night, at dawn, King Dhṛtarāṣṭra possessed the retinue of young women.
