Understanding all meanings without defilement, Wondrous, smooth like crystal, pleasing to the wise. Exhortation transforms conduct to be tamed, Satisfying when asked to conform to others' actions. This quality of speech of that Lord of Dharma, Like a conch adorning the Teacher's neck, with rounded arms. Long hands like staffs, the seven places also high, Beautiful hands, various fingers long and round. The Victor's body is the color of pure gold, Hair curls to the right, growing upwards one by one. The navel is deep and round, the secret place like a horse king, The blessing of self-born Enya, thighs like an elephant's trunk. The soles of the feet beautifully drawn with the mark of the auspicious wheel, Like the gait of the elephant king, the strength of a lion's prowess. Possessing the strength of outstretched arms, the offering pillar of power increases. Rain of flowers falls from the sky, flowers transform into umbrellas, These footprints of the departed are his wondrous Dharma. The Victor, in gain and loss, pleasure and pain, Fame and obscurity, praise and blame, Like a lotus untouched by water, Such a lion among men, there is no being equal to him. Thereafter, the son of the land protector, the young light of merit, hearing the praise of the Buddha, hearing the praise of the Dharma and Sangha, felt satisfied, joyful, delighted, and joy and peace of mind arose. Thereafter, the son of the land protector, the young light of merit, thought to himself: What is the Buddha, the Bhagavan, the Tathagata? What is his Sangha, so perfect? What is the Dharma he has realized? What are his disciples, so perfect? How is samsara lightened and reduced? How are actions not cherished? How are children and ordinary people in samsara not cherished? How is the view of the aggregates lightened? How is the household life full of faults? How are desires full of faults? How do the wise despise carelessness? How is the darkness of ignorance foolish? How are conditioned things difficult to understand? How is the mind difficult to tame? How are humans and forms profound?

Just as the six sense bases have no exhalation, just as contact is completely unknown and suffering matures, just as feeling has many faults, just as the bonds of existence are strong, just as it is difficult to arise from clinging, just as craving for existence is not supreme, just as if there is craving, it is difficult to cut off the stream of birth, just as the bonds of existence are strong, just as it is difficult to arise from clinging, just as craving for existence is not supreme, just as if there is craving, it is difficult to cut off the stream of birth, just as aging causes change, just as disease causes destruction, just as death does not protect, just as entering has little taste, just as accomplishing existence has many faults, just as the teachings of the Tathagata delight in peace, this is not possible. A slave of desire, afflicted, ignorant, with an angry mind, delighting in carelessness, dwelling among children, possessing an unwholesome mind, possessing a mind attached to samsara, dwelling among unruly people, cannot even purify the path of good destinies, let alone attain the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. He also thought to himself: If I go out through the door, the assembly of relatives will create obstacles, I will secretly make offerings from the top of this house. Delightful one, then, the young prince Sonam's rays of light, the Bhagavan Tathagata Don Grub's wisdom, turned to that place alone. After offering from that house, he jumped down and spoke these words: If the Tathagata is all-knowing and all-seeing, then may the Tathagata consider me. Delightful one, then, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddha Don Grub, extended his right hand and emitted light. That light touched the young prince Sonam's rays of light. From that light, eight thousand lotus flowers arose, each the size of a chariot wheel's spoke. From those lotus flowers, hundreds of thousands of rays of light arose, becoming a great light, and that light

The light of the young prince Sonam spread everywhere. The protector of the land, from then on, the light of the young prince Sonam sat on the lotus, and with palms joined in reverence before the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha Don Drub Lo, he specially recited three times, "I prostrate to the Buddha." The protector of the land, then the light of the Tathagata Don Drub Lo disappeared, and the youth, like a felled tree, fell at the feet of the Tathagata. He prostrated to the Tathagata hundreds and thousands of times. The protector of the land, then the light of the young prince Sonam supplicated the Bhagavan Tathagata Don Drub Lo with verses: I have been sick for a long time, I have been blind for a long time. Now I have found you, the king of physicians. How to abide in the teachings of the Sugata, please show me how to fight, O Protector. O Guide, I have heard some things, heard from the gods in the night sky. Having heard, I am weary, and I have come here. How will people act? Please show the way today to those who are lost. Please be the eyes of the blind today. Please be the source of faith, the healer, the compassionate one. Please rescue me from this great precipice. Please take in me, who has become poor. O Protector, please liberate me today, who am bound. Please cut off my wavering, doubting mind. Please show me the path to enlightenment. Please show the shore to me, who has been carried away by the water. Please light a lamp for me in the darkness. Please heal me, who am wounded. O King of Physicians, please pull out my pain. Please liberate me from the evil realms. Please cut off the attachment to existence. Please save me across the great river of sorrow by the great path of the Eightfold Path. Life is of the nature of exhaustion, and life is also short. There are many obstacles to doing good. The ripening of merit does not last long. Please summarize in one sentence the effort I have made. How should a Bodhisattva act? How should one practice the supreme Bodhi conduct? How can one ultimately be liberated from the bonds of samsara? O world!
