Do not be partial, saying that this is a bond. And do not be partial to being separated from the eye. Also, do not be partial to the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind. And do not be partial to being separated from the mind. Why is that? Because the Tathagata does not perceive these dharmas as being internal, nor does he perceive them as being external. Therefore, the Tathagata does not take sides with these dharmas. The Tathagata speaks truthfully, therefore he says this: Monks, the eye is neither self nor other. Why is that? Because one's own nature is invisible. What dharma is the eye? Whose is the eye? What dharma is the ear, nose, tongue, and mind? Whose is the mind? Why is that? Because one's own nature and object are invisible. That is why it is said. If one examines the eye separately, and also examines the ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind separately, then one will not cling to or grasp any dharma. Why is that? Because whoever clings to and grasps the dharma, that person will generate suffering. Because suffering arises, there will be no happiness. Therefore, whoever clings to the dharma, all will experience suffering. And whoever experiences suffering will not abandon suffering. Therefore, this is called examining the eye separately, and the ear and

It is the very nature of abiding. The Tathagata understands that the nature of all phenomena is to arise and yet not arise, therefore the Tathagata speaks truthfully, so it is said, whether the Tathagata appears or does not appear, this nature is eternally abiding. What is "unborn"? What is "unborn wisdom"? Whatever phenomena become equality, that is unborn. Whatever is the path, that is unborn wisdom. Whatever is the cessation of suffering, that is unborn. Whatever is the path, that is unborn wisdom. These are the two truths spoken by the Tathagata, namely the conventional truth and the ultimate truth. What the Tathagata speaks of as the nature of suffering is said to be without nature. What is the nature of suffering? For example, what is the nature of the unconditioned. What is the nature of the unconditioned, that is without nature, therefore the wise fully know that the unconditioned is without nature. How do the wise know that the unconditioned is without nature? For example, the dharma nature of the unconditioned is also emptiness, also extremely peaceful, also a place of refuge, also the most excellent benefit, also completely without suffering. The wise thus know the unconditioned, yet that wisdom has no sign of arising. The wise completely abandon all signs, therefore they attain the most excellent meaning of non-manifestation, and obtain imperishability. Whatever has manifestation has destruction; whatever has no manifestation has no destruction. What is the nature of imperishability, that is without sign. What is the nature of imperishability, that is without aspiration. The unconditioned, which has no manifestation, and that which has no destruction are indistinguishable, that is the Tathagata.

It is called the indestructible nature of the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment of all. What is the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment of the Tathagatas? It is like this: it is whatever is without object for the Tathagatas. The venerable Gangpo asked the Blessed One: Blessed One, what is that which is without object for the Tathagatas? The Blessed One said: Gangpo, all dharmas are without object for the Tathagatas. Blessed One, if that is so, then all dharmas will also become the enlightenment of the Buddhas. The Blessed One said: Gangpo, that is so. All dharmas are the enlightenment of the Buddhas, but that enlightenment is not called all dharmas. All dharmas are the enlightenment of the Buddhas. This is also merely spoken of as a conventional designation. It is difficult for the lazy to realize and difficult to understand. Why is that? Because those who are lazy do not actualize the equality of dharmas. Those who have not become equal argue with the Buddhas. Gangpo, who does not actualize equality? Because they have manifestly awakened to the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, therefore, due to that cause and condition, it is taught in these sutras that all dharmas, in the state of reality, have all entered into certainty, so it is taught that they have definitely entered the gate of enlightenment. Therefore, Gangpo, all dharmas are called enlightenment. Then, the venerable Gangpo asked the Blessed One this: Blessed One, is the unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment of the Tathagatas definite? Is it indefinite? Does it enter into words and letters? Does it not enter into words and letters? Does it enter into words? Does it not enter into words? That is very wonderful. Why is that? Blessed One, today I have heard such a sutra from the Blessed One, so I have obtained the light of various certainties in all dharmas. Blessed One,
