It does not contradict mantras, and worldly wise men will not slander it. Therefore, the bodhisattva, like the worldly beings who cannot fathom the depths, I will not exhaust its depth. I will not be drowned in what the worldly beings do. I will not be afraid of what the worldly beings fear, and I should put on such armor. What is the reason for that? Because the armor I wear is not consistent with the worldly people, I wear armor to abandon the worldly dharma. It is not to practice worldly dharma that I wear armor, but to not practice worldly behavior that I wear armor. It is not to follow worldly dharma that I wear armor, but to reverse worldly dharma that I wear armor. To generate such a mind is the true diligence of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. If a bodhisattva possesses these two dharmas, he will not regress from the unexcelled perfect enlightenment. Thereafter, the Blessed One, in order to truly reveal this meaning, spoke in verses: The bodhisattva who seeks the Dharma, Should constantly generate diligence, Mindful of the meaning of the matter, Should not follow the sound of words. The bodhisattva should not be attached to words, In order to understand that all dharmas are empty, Should seek good words, In countless kalpas. In hundreds of millions of kotis, Day and night constantly abiding, Even if diligently practicing difficult minds, If one does not believe in the sutras that have never been heard before, Then it is not diligence. Whoever can realize the profound meaning, Should not be called a lazy person. Such diligence is, Praised by the Buddhas. The depths that the world cannot fathom, The bodhisattva can fathom its depths. Although the world is fearful and sinking, The bodhisattva is fearless. With a diligent mind, constantly, Seeking enlightenment in a solitary place.

For the Dharma of emptiness, there is no fear, nor will there be regression or sinking. Because the nature of self and Dharma exists, therefore fear and sinking increase greatly. All Dharmas are perishable, this is called the path to enlightenment. Whatever diligence and effort are generated, the ocean of vast learning will be quickly accomplished. Furthermore, noble son, Bodhisattvas should be skilled in the five aggregates, skilled in the twelve sources, skilled in the eighteen realms, and skilled in the twelve links of dependent origination. If one becomes skilled in the five aggregates, the twelve sources, the eighteen realms, and the twelve links of dependent origination, then the wisdom of non-abiding will be fully accomplished. In order to attain the wisdom of non-abiding, one does not contemplate all Dharmas, nor does one discriminate. Without contemplation or discrimination, teaching the Dharma to sentient beings, all views will be destroyed, and the view of the aggregation of destruction will be thoroughly subdued. If a Bodhisattva possesses these three Dharmas, he will not regress from the unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Then, the Bhagavan spoke in verse: If a Bodhisattva possesses these three Dharmas, he will not regress from the unexcelled, perfect, and complete enlightenment. Then, the Bhagavan spoke in verse: Bodhisattvas should know that the five aggregates are empty, should know that the twelve sources are empty in nature, should clearly distinguish the eighteen realms, and should thoroughly understand the twelve links of dependent origination. Not following the five aggregates, one should know that the body is unreal. All internal and external sources, one should know that their nature is empty. Having thus understood all Dharmas, by teaching them to others, therefore the wisdom of that Bodhisattva will greatly increase. Furthermore, noble son, Bodhisattva Mahasattvas should follow well, without completely losing, as the rules of discipline prescribe, and as the discipline is correctly taught. How should a Bodhisattva study the rules of discipline? Studying all Dharmas, that is Bodhi.

It is called learning the discipline of a Bodhisattva. Why is that? Because whatever Bodhisattva studies all dharmas, that will lead to the attainment of omniscience. By knowing the dharmas, one will attain non-conceptual wisdom, because that non-conceptual wisdom will know all things. How does one come to know all things? The Bodhisattva is the one who thoroughly knows all internal things and all external things. So, why is it called disease? What is called disease is like this: as much as it is experienced, it is a place for attachment. For example, the internal body arises from the twelve interdependent limbs, and it only exists as a conventionally designated name. This is called the eye. This is the ear. This is the nose. This is the tongue. This is the body. This is the mind. Whatever is said in this way is called internal. Because ordinary beings cling to these dharmas, it is called internal. For example, even if one says, "I should obtain such an eye," there is no actual creation of such an eye. Similarly, even if one says, "I should obtain an ear, a nose, a tongue, and a mind," there is no actual creation of an ear, a nose, a tongue, a body, and a mind. However, from there, the ripening of karma's conditions increases, and therefore it is called internal. In its distinctions, ordinary beings cling to it and say, "This is the eye, this is the ear, the nose, the tongue, the body, and the mind." All of these are called internal. Furthermore, by the name "internal," ordinary beings falsely fabricate things, which are untrue and deceptive. Foolish ordinary beings cling to these, take them as real, and create disputes. However, the Thus-Gone One (Tathagata) has understood these from the very beginning as they truly are, and does not cling to them. How does the Thus-Gone One understand them as they truly are and not cling to them? The Thus-Gone One does not take sides with these dharmas. What does he not take sides with? For example, this eye exists.
