If you think that the king named Limitless Fame who appeared is someone else, and you have doubts about it, then you should not view it that way. Why? Because the great king, you yourself, at that time, became a Chakravartin king named Limitless Fame. Therefore, great king, you should recognize that the senses are like illusions, and the realms are like dreams, and in this way, you should fix your mind and not rely on others. Then, the Bhagavan spoke these verses at that time: From the dominion of desire, the mind is driven by the wise, to the joy of the dominion of Dharma, the mind should be completely released. Abandoning the dominion of desire, placing trust in the Dharma, if one relies well on taming the mind, then afflictions will be completely cut off. Relying on the cutting off of afflictions, the path of karma will also be severed. If the path of karma is severed, then one becomes a stupa in the world. Do not be completely deluded by desire. Fully revealing the faults of desire, because of having a mind of benefit for sentient beings, therefore it is called a stupa of offering. Having heard the faults of desire, people can be liberated from the attachment to desire, purify the mind, and know everything, therefore it is called a stupa of offering. Abandoning the hatred of sentient beings, the most supreme person fully knows, liberating the mind from hatred, therefore it is called a stupa of offering. Abandoning the delusion of sentient beings, the supreme of the Shakya clan fully knows, purifying the mind from delusion, therefore it is called a stupa of offering. Also abandoning the pride of sentient beings, the tamer of sentient beings knows, purifying the mind from pride, therefore it is called a stupa of offering. The Bhagavan also said to King Śuddhodana: Great king, in the past there was a king named Earth God, who possessed Dharma, was a king of Dharma, and possessed the seven precious things. His seven precious things were: the precious wheel, the precious elephant, the precious horse, the precious jewel, the precious woman, the precious householder, and the precious minister, these seven. The father of that King Earth God was a king.
