At the time of that great king, this Jambudvipa was eighty thousand yojanas in extent. At that time, there were sixty clusters of cities called cities in that Jambudvipa. In the center of that Jambudvipa, there was a city called "Jewel Adorned," which was the royal palace of the king, with a water surface of twelve by twelve yojanas. It was square, immaculate, and very closely connected. The great king's palace was surrounded by seven rows of Tala trees, which were made of four kinds of jewels: gold, silver, beryl, and crystal. The golden Tala trees were adorned with silver leaves, flowers, and fruits. The silver Tala trees were adorned with golden leaves, flowers, and fruits.
