When the last consciousness ceases after exhaustion, it is like a drunkard awakening from intoxication, the mind will focus on a state of delusion. Great King, by the power of the last consciousness, and the focus of karma, and two conditions, the first consciousness will arise in beings. As soon as that first consciousness ceases, without any interruption, a similar portion of the stream of manifest mind, which becomes the fruition, will arise. Great King, in this way, karma is also focused, but there is no agent. Fruition is also focused, but apart from the mere convention of names, there is no experiencer here. Great King, in this way, the cessation of the last consciousness is counted as death. The arising of the first consciousness is counted as birth. Great King, in this way, there is no dharma that transmigrates from this world to another world, but death and birth are manifest. Great King, that last consciousness, when arising, does not come from anywhere, and when ceasing, does not go anywhere. Karma and fruition, and death and birth, the first consciousness, when arising, does not come from anywhere, and when ceasing, does not go anywhere. Why is that? Because its nature is emptiness. The last consciousness is empty of the nature of the last consciousness. Birth and destruction, and karma and fruition, the first consciousness, and death and birth, samsara and nirvana, are empty of the nature of nirvana. All dharmas are also empty of the nature of all dharmas. This is the door of liberation, emptiness. That which is empty of the sign of emptiness is the door of liberation, signlessness. That which is without sign is without aspiration, this is the door of liberation, aspirationlessness. Great King, in this way, all dharmas are the door of liberation, perfectly converging into emptiness, the nature of signlessness, free from aspiration, inclined towards nirvana, determined in the realm of dharma, reaching the limit of the sphere of space. Great King

Great King, you should firmly establish your mind on this and strive to maintain this conviction. Do not rely on others, but understand for yourself. This is the Bodhi of all Buddhas, the Bhagavad-ones, of the past, future, and present. It is the complete cessation of all attachment to power, the complete drying up of all craving, the crushing of all pride, the perfect cutting off of all forms of views and doubts, the equality of all dharmas. This is not for ordinary individuals, it is subdued by the Shravakas, it is not the domain of the Pratyekabuddhas, it is the perfect conduct of the Bodhisattvas, and it is comprehended by the Buddhas. Great King, how do you think, I will become the eye, the lamp, the light, the boat, the shore, the landing, the guide, the complete guide, the teacher, the leader, and the forerunner of the world with its gods? I will liberate from liberation, transcend from transcendence, relieve from breathing, and lead from complete Nirvana to complete Nirvana. Great King, look at those powers, even the dominion that was previously experienced becomes invisible. Great King, in this way, the senses are like illusions, they are insatiable and cannot be satisfied. The realms are like dreams, they cannot be satisfied and are never fulfilled. Great King, in the past, there was a king named Fame Without End. Great King, that King Fame Without End had endless armies, forces, and vehicles, and he ruled with an unobstructed wheel, possessing an unshakeable vehicle and perfect conduct, having planted roots of virtue before the Buddhas of the past, and possessing the power of a wish-fulfilling jewel. Whatever he thought, everything was accomplished, and none of his thoughts were in vain. In this way, the king, through the glory of his own roots of virtue, his wishes were fulfilled as desired. Great King, after that, King Fame

Then the Limitless Fame thought, 'I shall examine whether my power of merit has diminished,' and he thought thus: 'Alas, may all the trees and plants in my four great continents of the world bear fruit as desired.' As soon as King Limitless Fame generated this thought, all the trees and plants in the four great continents of the world bore fruit as desired. Great King, furthermore, King Limitless Fame again wished to examine the increase of the power of his roots of virtue, and he thought thus: 'Alas, may all the beings dwelling in these four great continents of my world have all harm cease, and may their thoughts be fulfilled.' As soon as King Limitless Fame generated this thought, all the beings dwelling in the four great continents of the world had all harm cease, and all their thoughts were fulfilled. Great King, furthermore, King Limitless Fame wished to examine the increase of the power of his roots of virtue, and he thought thus: 'Alas, may my four great continents of the world be showered with fragrant water.' Great King, as soon as King Limitless Fame generated this thought, all the four great continents of the world were showered with fragrant water. Great King, thereafter, King Limitless Fame wished to extensively examine the increase of the power of his roots of virtue, and he thought thus: 'Alas, may my four great continents of the world be showered with flowers.' Great King, as soon as King Limitless Fame generated this thought, all the four great continents of the world were showered with flowers. Great King, furthermore, King Limitless Fame thought thus: 'Alas, may my four great continents of the world be showered with divine garments and...
