However, the children have other views. One should learn from diligent Dharma, about which I have no more doubts. The son of gods, following the true meaning, asks: What is the true essence of Dharma? No one has realized it, nor has anyone taught it. This is what the Supreme Shakyamuni said. The son of gods, understanding the symbol of Dharma, asks: Defilements, stains, delusions, habits, discriminations and thoughts, and all pure afflictions, Shakyamuni is the sole symbol. The son of gods, skilled in all discriminations, asks: All pure afflictions, pure afflictions and delusions, purity, speaking, closeness, and the teacher, all these are just names. The son of gods, with non-abiding wisdom, asks: Not attached to the three realms, possessing a mind like the sky, liberated and the source of generosity, I prostrate to the peaceful mind. The son of gods, with non-attachment, asks: Shakyamuni, your mind does not abide in form or formlessness, nor in desire or nirvana, like the sky, it abides nowhere. The son of gods, with no hope, asks: Having abandoned hope for the desire realm, neither in the form realm nor the formless realm, having separated from the hustle and bustle, I prostrate to you who have exhausted craving. The son of gods, having uprooted craving, asks: For arising and ceasing, your craving is completely cut off, having no attachment to all three realms, I prostrate to the good guide. The son of gods, free from craving, asks: Separated from all bonds, pacified by cutting off rebirth, the nature of purity, the pure mind, I prostrate to you who are timeless. The son of gods, knowing as it is, asks: All phenomena are without inherent existence, as it is, hero, you know. There is no bondage nor liberation, I prostrate to the one who sees truly. The son of gods, crossing the mire, asks: Having crossed the mire of desire, likewise crossed the mire of existence, seeing nothing and taking nothing, I prostrate to the one who has exhausted rebirth. The son of gods, abandoning confusion, asks: Having abandoned confusion, abandoned stains, abandoned hope, and also abandoned sin. Buddha has completely abandoned obscurations, I prostrate to you who understand the meaning. The son of gods, abandoning hope, asks: Having abandoned meaningful and meaningless things, not attached, therefore realized, freed from the net of Mara.
