One should train in this conduct as follows: All dharmas are like the self, in accordance with reality. Just as the self is without self, so one sees that all dharmas are without self. Just as sentient beings are without self, so one sees that all dharmas are without self. Seeing in this way is seeing in accordance with reality. If one sees the realm of samsara in accordance with reality, one sees that it corresponds to the realm of nirvana in accordance with reality. This is called appropriate attention. One sees that the nature of all dharmas is no different from the nature of afflictions. One does not treat yoga and non-yoga unequally. Through appropriate attention, one sees in accordance with reality. As many appropriate attentions as there are, so many are the abodes of sentient beings. One does not see the abodes of sentient beings, nor does one disturb the abodes of dharmas. This is the appropriate attention of a Bodhisattva. Shariputra, thus, this kind of appearance, this kind of hearing, this kind of appropriate entry, this kind of appropriate seeing, this kind of correspondence of seeing things as they are, these are called wisdom. Shariputra, thus, a Bodhisattva engages in the Prajnaparamita. Shariputra, furthermore, a Bodhisattva engaging in the Prajnaparamita abides with wisdom in all dharmas of conditioned activities. Thus, one does not abide together with ignorance. One does not abide together with formations, extensively, one does not abide together with aging and death. One does not abide together with the view of self, that is, one does not abide together with the sixty-two views arising from the root of the view of self. One does not abide together with pride. One does not abide together with conceit. One does not abide together with wrong pride, up to the twenty secondary afflictions. One does not abide together with the great, the middling, and the small, up to all afflictions. One does not abide together with the darkness of delusion, the dimness of obscuration, the veiling, the cutting off, the binding, up to all inferior dharmas.

Does not abide. With the entanglement of disputes, afflictions, aggregates, sons of gods, and the works of all demons from the Lord of Death's demons, it does not abide. With all views of self, from self, sentient beings, life, sustenance, individuals, youths, and those born from youths, it does not abide. With the obscuration of karma, the obscuration of afflictions, the obscuration of dharma, the obscuration of views, the obscuration of ripening, and the obscuration of ignorance, up to all connections of habitual tendencies, it does not abide. With all conceptualizations, elaborations, signs, objects, seeing, hearing, remembering, discriminating, and the accrual of knots, it does not abide. With miserliness, generosity, discipline, immoral discipline, patience, malice, diligence, laziness, meditation, distraction, wisdom, and immoral wisdom, up to the aspects of the perfections and the opposing aspects, knowledge, and ignorance, it does not abide. With certainty, uncertainty, wrong certainty, virtue, non-virtue, fault, faultlessness, samsara, and nirvana, up to the antidotes to all dharmas, it does not abide. With various fields, various Buddhas, various sentient beings, and various dharmas, up to all varieties, it does not abide. With ignorance, knowledge, discrimination, conventional truth, and ultimate truth, up to the mental engagement with the signs of all sentient beings, it does not abide. With non-abiding wisdom, formlessness, signlessness, signlessness, the unconditioned, up to all mental engagements and the abodes of mind and discrimination, it does not abide. It does not abide with those and other immeasurable dharmas that engage in the conditioned. Thus, the wisdom of a Bodhisattva who practices the Perfection of Wisdom does not abide with all conditioned activities. Shariputra, thus does a Bodhisattva practice the Perfection of Wisdom. Shariputra.
