In the lotus-filled palace of the king, let no one use any of the flowers, fragrances, and unguents! Let no one sell them! Let all of these be offered and used for the worship of the Bhagavan Dipamkara! If anyone uses or sells them, they will be severely punished, and this will be proclaimed. Then, King Drathul, in order to behold the Bhagavan Tathagata Dipamkara and to pay homage, with a fourfold army, with flowers, fragrances, garlands, unguents, powders, clothes, umbrellas, banners, flags, and various musical instruments, with the great power of the king and the great wealth of the king, emerged from the lotus-filled palace. The Brahmins and householders of the lotus-filled city also went to where the Bhagavan was, and having arrived, they prostrated at the feet of the Bhagavan Tathagata Dipamkara, and with flowers, garlands, fragrances, unguents, powders, clothes, umbrellas, banners, and flags, they made offerings to the Bhagavan. The ministers, retinue, Brahmins, and householders also bowed their heads at the feet of the Bhagavan, made offerings to the Bhagavan, and followed after him. King Drathul was delighted in mind, pleased in mind, without obscurations in mind, satisfied in mind, and followed after the Bhagavan. Moreover, at that time, on the side of the snowy mountains, there was a Brahmin named Brahmin Jewel, who had five hundred young Brahmin attendants, a Khenpo who initiated reading, a mantra holder, proficient in the three Vedas, including phonetics and clear understanding, as well as thorough letter differentiation, who had gone beyond the five past events, prophesying each word, knowing the world's far-reaching benefits, the lineage of sacrifices, and recognizing the marks of a great person. He was known to be proficient in his own language, knowing the three knowledges, and universally recognized as a teacher. Shariputra also knew that Brahmin Jewel had a young Brahmin named Cloud as an attendant, who initiated reading, a mantra holder, proficient in the three Vedas, including phonetics and clear understanding, and letters.

and with detailed classifications, and prophesying each and every word of the past Buddhas, being the medicine for the world, the cause of offerings, flawlessly following the footsteps of great beings, fully understanding the three wisdoms of one's own language, and fully knowing someone who has become a teacher. Shariputra, then a young Brahmin named Cloud, having mastered the Vedas, said to the Khenpo: 'Khenpo, I have mastered the Vedas, if I go back to my homeland, what should I do?' The Khenpo said: 'Cloud child, give five hundred gold coins to the teacher as a reward.' He said so. Then, the young Brahmin Cloud prostrated at the feet of the Khenpo, circumambulated three times, and left from the Khenpo's presence, wandering in villages, cities, towns, and the palaces of kings, seeking the wealth to offer to the teacher. He collected the wealth to offer to the teacher, and finally arrived at the lotus-filled palace of the king. The young Brahmin Cloud saw the lotus-filled palace of the king decorated in every way. Having seen this, he called a person and said: 'Hey, sir, what kind of celebration is being prepared in this lotus-filled palace of the king?' The person said: 'Young man, don't you know? Today, the Bhagavan, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Samyaksambuddha Dipamkara, together with eighty billion Arhats and eighty-four thousand Bodhisattvas, have arrived at the lotus-filled palace of the king. Therefore, this lotus-filled palace of the king is decorated in every way. People are giving alms there, and also doing good deeds.' He said so. Then, the young Brahmin Cloud, having heard the sound of the Buddha, generated great joy, delight, and satisfaction, thinking that the appearance of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, is rare, extremely rare, like the flower of the Udumbara, like the only tree of offerings, I should buy flowers with these five hundred Karshapanas, offer them to the Bhagavan Tathagata Dipamkara, and separate them from the teacher's wealth.
