Pa'o. Placed equally by the equality of mind. Placed equally by the equality of thought. Placed equally by the equality of union. Placed equally by the equality of superior thought. Placed equally by the equality of giving. Placed equally by the equality of morality, patience, diligence, meditation, and wisdom. All dharmas are placed equally by the equality of themselves. Whatever enlightenment is equal to, all sentient beings are also equal to that. Whatever all sentient beings are equal to, all dharmas are equal to that. Entering equally into that which is equal is called entering into equality. Whatever emptiness is equal to, all dharmas are also equal to that. Because equality is entering equally, therefore it is called entering equally. Whatever is equal to the absence of characteristics, whatever is equal to the absence of aspirations, whatever is equal to the absence of manifest accumulation, entering equally into the equality of equality, therefore it is called entering equally. Because one's own mind enters equally into the equality of all dharmas by the equality of itself, therefore it is called entering equally. Being equal in mind to all that benefits and harms. The mind being equal to water. The mind being equal to fire. The mind being equal to wind. The mind being equal to space. Neither high nor low. Abiding is truly abiding. Obtaining immovability. Placed equally with all conduct. Unfabricated conduct. Entering equally by nature. Not being wild. Not being distracted. Not being arrogant. Not speaking foolishly. Not corrupting words. Knowing the meaning. Knowing the Dharma. Knowing the time. Knowing the measure. Knowing the warmth. Being in harmony with all the world. Not being mixed with the world. Having completely transcended the eight worldly dharmas. Not being mixed with all defilements. Being separated from the swarm of insects. The place of practice being solitary. Abiding in such a Dharma, not abandoning the place of equal placement, and also appearing everywhere in all the activities of the world, this is the wisdom of a Bodhisattva and the perfection of meditation manifestly accomplished by skillful means. When one enters equally into that which is the object of great compassion that sees sentient beings, the mind closely relates, this is its skillful means. Entering equally into peace and great peace.
