Fifth, cultivating the supernatural power based on meditation with the activity of abandoning mental and analytical absorption. That is, desiring, striving, controlling, and mastering the dharmas that are completely grasped by desire, diligence, mind, and analysis. Because of completely cultivating these four bases of supernatural power, supernatural powers are manifested. He experiences various kinds of magical transformations. Those magical transformations are also completely familiar for the sake of observing sentient beings. He shows that particular magical transformation by which form, power, blessing, or magical manifestation can tame sentient beings. He shows that particular form and color that can tame sentient beings by whatever form and color appears. Whether it is showing the form and color of a Buddha, or showing the form and color of a Pratyekabuddha, or showing the form and color of a Shravaka, or showing the form and color of Indra, or showing the form and color of Brahma, or showing the form and color of a world protector, or showing the form and color of a Chakravartin, or other forms and colors, even showing the form and color of an animal birth, whatever form and color can tame sentient beings, he shows that particular form and color to sentient beings and then teaches the Dharma. To sentient beings who are arrogant, angry, and haughty, he shows the power that can tame them. Like the power of Shariputra the Great Son, or a quarter of the power of Shariputra the Great Son, or half of the power of Shariputra the Great Son, or a little of the power of Shariputra the Great Son. Like with some power, taking Mount Sumeru, the king of mountains, with a height of one hundred and sixty thousand yojanas and a width of eighty-four thousand yojanas, with two fingers and throwing it. For example, like taking a single myrobalan fruit and throwing it to another world, the Bodhisattva

Ah, his power will not completely disappear, and this realm of the three-thousand great-thousand world system, so vast and so expansive, from the mass of water up to the peak of existence, placed in the palm of his hand, abiding for an eon, and showing all conduct, such a bodhisattva with power, for beings who are arrogant, wrathful, and haughty, he teaches the Dharma in order to measure arrogance, wrath, and haughtiness. He obtains the wisdom of blessing through those miraculous feet, and with the wisdom of blessing, whatever is blessed transforms accordingly. If he blesses the great ocean to be just the water in a cow's footprint, it remains just the water in a cow's footprint. If he says that a cow's footprint should become a great ocean, it will become a great ocean. If he blesses that the eon of burning should become a mass of water, it will become a mass of water accordingly. If he blesses that destruction by water should also become destruction by fire, it will transform accordingly. Similarly, combining, with the inferior, intermediate, and superior dharmas, whatever blessing is blessed, all those blessings transform accordingly, and it will not be otherwise. His blessing, whether it is a renunciate, a brahmin, a god, Indra, a demon, Brahma, or anyone in this world who, in accordance with the Dharma, urges, moves, or makes it disappear, cannot do so, except for the Buddhas, the Bhagavat. Because of generating the power of blessing, he teaches the Dharma to beings who are extremely joyful and supremely joyful, extensively engaging in various activities. Those miraculous feet of his are also imperishable, self-controlled, completely beyond the realm of demons and afflictions, entering the realm of the Buddha, connecting without harming beings, accumulating all collections of roots of virtue, and are not to be divided by demons and the sons of gods of the demonic host. This is the activity of the miraculous deeds of a bodhisattva, the completion of the activity of manifest knowledge to be done manifestly.

is perfected. Shariputra, what is the direct perception of a Bodhisattva? And what is wisdom? Seeing all forms with the divine eye is called direct perception. Knowing that all appearing forms are of the nature of cessation, but not directly realizing it, is called wisdom. Furthermore, Shariputra, hearing all sounds that are proclaimed is called direct perception. Not forgetting the previous limit of what is heard is called wisdom. Shariputra, furthermore, thoroughly knowing the minds and behaviors of all sentient beings is called direct perception. Knowing the cessation of mind, but not directly realizing cessation, is called wisdom. Shariputra, furthermore, remembering the previous limit without attachment is called direct perception. Wisdom without attachment to the three times is called wisdom. Shariputra, furthermore, going and coming to all fields is called direct perception. Entering into the knowledge of fields as being like the sky is called wisdom. Furthermore, entering into the noble Dharma is called direct perception. Seeing the Dharma equally is called wisdom. Furthermore, becoming attached to all the world is called direct perception. Not mixing with all the world is called wisdom. Furthermore, subduing all of Indra, Brahma, and the protectors of the world is called direct perception. Knowing the miraculous powers of all Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas is called wisdom. Shariputra, thus, these direct perceptions and wisdom are called perfecting the activity of direct perception and wisdom. Shariputra, as much as the distracted mind of afflictions exists, so much also exists the assembly of meditations of the Bodhisattva and the wisdom of the blessing of the mind. As much as the minds of all sentient beings are distracted, so much should the Bodhisattva properly gather the assembly of the limbs of meditation. Shariputra, thus, when the Bodhicitta is properly taken and abides in it, it is called equipoise. Equipoise through the equality of sentient beings.
