Non-manifest attachment is the meaning of all dharmas. Whoever is proud of meaning, that is its great harm. Whoever is not proud of meaning, neither meaning nor non-meaning will remain before him. From seeing the meaning, there will be no obstruction anywhere, his obstruction is non-existent. Whoever has no obstruction, he does not completely grasp. Whoever does not completely grasp, he is not attached. Whoever is not attached, he has no abode. Whoever has no abode, he has no decay. Whoever has no decay, his effort is fruitful. Whoever's effort is fruitful, he has no delusion. Whoever has no delusion, he has no thought of "I". Whoever has no thought of "I", he has no dispute. Whoever has no dispute, he is a renunciate's dharma without dispute. Whoever is a renunciate's dharma without dispute, he is like the emptiness of the palm of the hand. Whoever is like the emptiness of the palm of the hand, he does not belong to the desire realm, does not belong to the form realm, does not belong to the formless realm. Whoever does not belong to everything, he has no color, no sign, no shape. Whoever has no color, no sign, no shape, the subsequent realization of him is just like that. In what way is the subsequent realization of him realized, it is also just like that. Why is it called subsequent realization and realization? Because for whom, even a particle of the dharma to be subsequently realized and realized is not visible, therefore it is called subsequent realization and realization. Thus, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who abides in subsequent realization and realization is said to possess inconceivable and wonderful dharmas. What are the inconceivable and wonderful dharmas of a Bodhisattva? They are love, selflessness, compassion, sentient beinglessness, joy, lifelessness, equanimity, personlessness, generosity, the mind of generosity, discipline, the mind of peace, patience, the mind of inexhaustibility, diligence, the mind of solitude, meditation, the mind of definite realization, wisdom, the mind of non-elaboration, mindfulness, absence of mindfulness and

The meditation of Bodhisattvas is without enjoyment, for it is non-attachment to self-pleasure. The meditation of Bodhisattvas is focused on great compassion, for the sake of abandoning all afflictions. The Bodhisattvas'

Samadhi does not focus on the desire realm, therefore it does not revert from samadhi. The meditation of Bodhisattvas is to fully understand the minds and behaviors of all sentient beings, therefore they practice supernormal knowledge. The meditation of Bodhisattvas is to know the mastery of the mind, therefore they go only to that. The meditation of Bodhisattvas is to know all the absorptions for the sake of all form and formless realms. The meditation of Bodhisattvas is to overcome the absorptions of Hearers and Solitary Buddhas with peace, therefore it is peaceful, extremely peaceful, and nearly peaceful. The meditation of Bodhisattvas is immovable because it is utterly perfect. The meditation of Bodhisattvas is an antidote because it completely destroys the connection of habitual patterns. The meditation of Bodhisattvas is the supreme of wisdom because it transcends all worlds. The meditation of Bodhisattvas is preceded by the thought of sentient beings because it liberates all sentient beings. The meditation of Bodhisattvas is to know the inexhaustible miraculous powers of the Tathagatas and not to cut off the lineage of the Three Jewels. The meditation of Bodhisattvas is manifestly superior because it is always in equipoise. The meditation of Bodhisattvas is to have power to completely accomplish all actions. The meditation of Bodhisattvas is pervasive because it is the very nature of great wisdom. Shariputra, these are the meditations of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. Shariputra, what precedes the perfection of meditation? That is, the mind's definite discernment precedes it. Single-pointedness of mind precedes it. Abiding of mind precedes it. Quiescence of mind precedes it. Mastery of samadhi precedes it. Power of samadhi precedes it. Right samadhi precedes it. Meditation and liberation precede it. The nine successive absorptions of abiding gradually precede it. The ninth cessation precedes it.
