Therefore, by dwelling and transforming greatly in the Dharma, discipline is always pure. After entering the Dharma in accordance with the Dharma, one practices the conduct of Bodhi. For the sake of enlightenment of the Buddhas, one bestows the nectar of the three lineages. Having established the aggregate of discipline, one manifestly learns all the Dharmas. The wise, together with the gods, are worthy of offerings in the world. There is no doubt about all the Dharmas, and one is also very skilled in all crafts. Having come to know the thoughts of sentient beings, one speaks pleasing words. Having trained in the aggregates of discipline, one attains supreme enlightenment and becomes a Buddha, sitting under the supreme tree, causing the sinful demons to be frightened. Like the sun and moon appearing in the light, emitting a fierce and majestic light. Thus, sentient beings become supreme, and arise from the eye of wisdom. Giving a hand to sentient beings, one shows the paths to those who ask. One always speaks frankly, and has no jealousy towards them. Oneself and other precious things, one quickly gives to many. This is the supreme Bodhi of a hundred paths, it will not become non-giving. Complete with faith and discipline, dwelling greatly in the words of truth. Because the aggregate of discipline is well established, there is no cause for them. If liars come and say, "Give and do," even if they say so, because they dwell in the words of truth, they will trust them with faith. Speaking to each other mutually, robes and alms, etc., even if they say they will give this but do not give it, there is no displeasure in that. Furthermore, Shariputra, thus, a Bodhisattva whose discipline is completely pure generates the perception of not delighting in all conditioned things. He generates the perception of all sentient beings as parents. Towards feelings and consciousness, he generates the perception of no consciousness. He also does not accomplish equality and inequality with the mind. Why is that? If one accomplishes equality with the mind, then Nirvana will become something that the mind can reach. If one accomplishes inequality with the mind, then it will become a mind of attachment, and thus become extremely unequal. Relying on the eye and form, eye consciousness arises. After generating a mind of attachment, the nature of the mind of habit that ceases is...

arise in. To contemplate that an untrue object is an untrue suffering mind is not proper attention. To believe in the unattractive is liberation. Where there is liberation, there is the exhaustion of truth. What is exhausted? That which is exhausted is the exhaustion of desire, the exhaustion of hatred, the exhaustion of delusion. Why is that? Because desire will be exhausted in an instant. If desire is other and exhaustion is also other, then desire will become truly itself. Thus, since desire is not true, it will be exhausted. Shariputra, desire arises from improper attention, it is distinguished by complete thought. That which does not completely think is not thinking. Abandoning thought is not true, therefore to have desire for it is not true. What is not true has no suffering, no complete torment. What has no complete torment is not true. What is not true has no torment, because it is a cool transformation, it is nirvana, therefore there is no desire there. Why is that? Because nirvana is not associated with mind, thus desire will be exhausted. Nirvana is the exhaustion of desire, thus desire is other, and nirvana is also other. What is other is the other shore of the other shore. What is the other shore of the other shore is what the wise seek completely, and in seeking completely, no essence is seen. What has no essence is chaff. What is chaff is hollow. What is hollow is emptiness. Empty of what? Empty of self and what belongs to self, of permanence, stability, constancy, and unchanging dharma. What has no sentient being has no life, therefore desire does not arise, hatred does not arise, delusion does not arise. What exists that causes the terms "I" or "mine" or the thoughts "this is I" or "this is mine," and the perverted clinging to self and clinging to what belongs to self to arise? From clinging to what belongs to self, manifestation arises, and there are four kinds of manifestation. What are the four? They are the manifestation of body, the manifestation of speech, and after the mind has investigated, harsh words are spoken. That
