He teaches the Dharma in order to perfect all qualities. This is the Buddha's unmixed Dharma. Furthermore, Shariputra, the Tathagata's diligence is undiminished. The Tathagata's diligence is as follows: diligence in not abandoning sentient beings to be tamed, and diligence in not despising listening to the Dharma. If the Tathagata obtains such a vessel of Dharma, even if he listens for an eon, he will not become weary. The Tathagata will also teach the Dharma, and with a body devoid of food, he will not rise even for an eon. The Tathagata observes sentient beings, and even for the sake of a single sentient being to be tamed by the Buddha, he crosses and travels through Buddha-fields as numerous as the sands of the Ganges. The Tathagata has no physical fatigue, nor verbal fatigue. The Tathagata is one whose body and mind are extremely subdued. He initiates diligence and speaks the praise of diligence. By diligently and completely subduing, sentient beings thereby attain the supreme liberation. Such diligence is a praise for sentient beings. Shariputra, this is the eighth unmixed Dharma of the Tathagata Buddha. Furthermore, Shariputra, the Tathagata, in all forms, in all of everything, his mindfulness is undiminished, and the Tathagata's mindfulness is unforgettable. What is the reason for this? Because as soon as the Tathagata attained unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, he immediately observed the mind-streams of past, future, and present sentient beings, and the Tathagata never forgets later. Even if he knows the conduct of sentient beings as it is, the Tathagata's wisdom will not be abandoned later. In placing the three aggregates and entering into the thoughts of sentient beings, by observing the conduct of sentient beings, the Tathagata's mindfulness is never completely diminished. The Tathagata's mindfulness, even without remembering, thinking, or examining, will not diminish in teaching the Dharma to sentient beings. What is the reason for this? Because thus

whose mindfulness is without decline. How does he remember? Just as he remembers me without forgetting, he teaches the Dharma to sentient beings. This is the ninth unshared quality of the Tathagata Buddha. Furthermore, Shariputra, the Tathagata's samadhi is without decline. What is the Tathagata's samadhi? It is the equality of all dharmas; all dharmas are not unequal. All dharmas are as they are. Why does the Tathagata not decline from samadhi? Because the Tathagata is equal to whatever, the samadhi is also equal to that. The samadhi is equal to whatever, the suchness is also equal to that. Because he abides in equality, therefore it is called equality. The limit of desire is equal to whatever, the limit of non-desire is also equal to that. The limit of hatred is equal to whatever, the limit of non-hatred is also equal to that. The limit of delusion is equal to whatever, the limit of non-delusion is also equal to that. The limit of conditioned things is equal to whatever, the limit of unconditioned things is also equal to that. The limit of samsara is equal to whatever, the limit of nirvana is also equal to that. Because he abides in equality, therefore it is called the Tathagata's samadhi without decline. Why is that? Because equality does not decline. It does not decline at all. The Tathagata's samadhi is not connected with the eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, or mind, but the Tathagata is not deficient in faculties. The samadhi does not abide in the earth element, nor does it abide in the water, fire, or wind elements. It does not abide in the desire realm, the form realm, or the formless realm. It does not abide in the other world. Because it does not abide, it does not decline. Therefore, the Tathagata's samadhi is without decline. In order that all sentient beings may attain the Tathagata's samadhi, he teaches the Dharma. Shariputra, this is the tenth unshared quality of the Tathagata Buddha. Furthermore, Shariputra, the Tathagata's wisdom is without decline. What is the Tathagata's wisdom? It is the complete knowledge of all dharmas, the knowledge that does not rely on others. In order to make other sentient beings and individuals understand the Dharma,
