That which is fixated on the mind of abiding is not what is or is not. Furthermore, Shariputra, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, abiding in equanimity is what is, it is possible. Shariputra, it is not what is or is not, it is not possible, if the Tathagata has untrue words, that is not what is or is not. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, do not speak falsely, speaking non-different words is what is, it is possible. Shariputra, it is not what is or is not, it is not possible, if the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, have confused intentions, that is not what is or is not. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, have no confusion, the words of the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are not confused, that is what is, it is possible. Likewise, like the indestructible, the eighteen unshared qualities of the Buddha should be known, Shariputra, it is not what is or is not, it is not possible, if the Tathagata, at the time of arising in the present, has attachment and the arising of wisdom seeing with obscurations, that is not what is or is not. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, at the present time, have no attachment, the arising of wisdom seeing without obscurations is what is, it is possible. Thus, Shariputra, the Tathagata's power of knowing what is and is not is immeasurable and boundless. Thus, Shariputra, therefore, the Tathagata's power of knowing what is and is not is immeasurable and boundless. Shariputra, if one desires the limit of space, then the limit of the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha's power of knowing what is and is not is also desired. Bodhisattvas, having heard of the Tathagata's inconceivable power of knowing what is and is not, generate superior understanding, faith, complete understanding, no hesitation, no doubt, great joy, having obtained delight, generate wonder and marvel. The Bhagavat spoke thus, the Sugata having spoken thus, the Teacher also speaks thus: Just as the ten directions of space are immeasurable and boundless, so too the Victorious One's knowledge of what is and is not is boundless. Having perfectly known the beings' what is and is not, the Teacher extensively expounds the supreme Dharma. Whoever is liberated.

are vessels of the path. The Teacher, knowing their conduct, also expounds the Dharma. Those sentient beings who are not vessels, knowing what is and is not, He remains neutral towards them. Even if this sky were to shake and fruits were to grow on the earth, the possible and impossible states of the Sugata would not change. The one who transcends the world, possessing the ten powers, the wisdom of the supreme qualities is inconceivable. Shariputra, this is the first power of the Tathagatas, the power of the Tathagata. Possessing this power, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddha, truly roars the lion's roar in the assembly, and welcomes or fills the supreme place with a smile. For hundreds of thousands of eons, no one in the world has turned the wheel of Dharma in accordance with the Dharma, but He turns it well. What then is the power of the Tathagata's knowledge of the maturation of karma? Shariputra, the Tathagata, with the unsurpassed power of the Tathagata's wisdom, truly knows the maturation of the deeds of the past, future, and present, as well as their true causes. How does He truly know? Shariputra, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly enlightened Buddha, truly knows that whatever deeds of the past arose from virtuous causes, are free from non-virtue, and whatever will produce pure causes in the future. Whatever deeds are born from non-virtuous causes, are free from virtue, and whatever will produce non-virtuous causes in the future, the Tathagata truly knows. Whatever deeds will rely on inferiority in the future, the Tathagata truly knows. Whatever deeds will rely on excellence in the present, the Tathagata truly knows. Whatever deeds rely on excellence in the present but will rely on inferiority in the future, the Tathagata truly knows. Whatever deeds rely on inferiority in the present but will rely on excellence in the future, the Tathagata truly knows. Whatever deeds are currently
