Keep it in mind. Which monks and which nuns, after hearing this sutra, weep with extreme sorrow, all of them will be prophesied by the venerable Kundata, and will see the main Buddha. Moonlight, you should know that by the power of the Buddha's miraculous powers, whether those whose minds are pure or those whose minds are impure, and even any intention, all should be kept in mind. Which sentient beings constantly delight in quiet places, dwell well in samadhi, are not attached to samsara, and even completely abandon habitual tendencies, as well as virtues such as these. Which sentient beings are attached to false dharmas, and which sentient beings have extreme faith in the Buddha, all such future things should be kept in mind. Which sentient beings are extremely attached to worldly pleasures, and are not good at generating the seeds of enlightenment, because of these causes and conditions, diligent practice declines. Whoever, once realizing the mind of enlightenment, that person will surely obtain pure, immeasurable light. Moonlight, you should be like this, for the causes and conditions of this light and so on, you should observe each one separately. You should understand everything as it is with the power of wisdom. Those who abandon bad friends and rely on good spiritual friends, and who protect pure morality, will be able to accomplish the light of the Buddha. You should guard your senses well, completely abandon shame and shamelessness, diligently practice virtuous dharmas, and protect all sentient beings. You should completely abandon disputes, realize emptiness, not be proud of obtaining gain, and become a learned and eloquent person. You should regard gain as impure things, do not let the stains of gain defile the pure mind, you should seek liberation, and you will obtain supreme accomplishment. You should practice the path to Buddhahood, regard the nature of the Dharma as equal and non-dual, constantly light the great lamp of Dharma, and illuminate the entire world. You

The mind is like the king of mountains, one should dwell steadfastly in immovability. All harsh words and beatings, endure and accept them. For the sake of sentient beings, one should strive to be a true and virtuous spiritual friend. Abandon all inferior thoughts, and always cultivate pure actions. Make your mind firm, and listen well to the unsurpassed Dharma. Give this excellent Sutra to those who are loving. If seeking the unsurpassed wisdom, do not fear samsara. By this, one can completely abandon sins, and will be able to obtain the supreme benefit. For example, a wise person, who is skilled in using fire, even if offering various flavors, the fire will not burn. If one is not wise, and not skilled in methods, holding fire in the palm of the hand, the fire will thoroughly burn. Just as a person, with poison, whose mind is disturbed and intoxicated, if warmed well by fire, by that cause, they will awaken. Moonlight, you should know, those with wisdom are also like that. Mind relies on mind, knowing emptiness, therefore, even though dwelling in samsara. Eye relies on eye, knowing emptiness, there is no manifest attachment to the eye. If one knows this well, even dwelling in the eye, there is no affliction. If a person knows sleep as emptiness, they will be able to accomplish true wisdom. For the sake of attaining true wisdom, light will arise. If the eye itself knows emptiness, then desire will be completely abandoned. Because desire is absent, light will arise. Likewise, hatred, delusion, and, grasping at self, concealment, and anger, stinginess, jealousy, shamelessness, impatience, and arrogance, pride and manifest arrogance, flattery and carelessness, hypocrisy, and so forth, even in between, all are explained as being like desire. If one attains true wisdom, the eye knows its peaceful nature. Because of knowing its peaceful nature, light will arise. If one attains true wisdom, one will dwell well in the Buddha's Dharma. Because of dwelling well in the Dharma, light will arise. If one attains true wisdom, one will dwell in the Buddha's means. Because of dwelling well in the means, light will arise.
