The noble mind, surpassing all the minds of Śrāvakas and Pratyekabuddhas, that mind is not seen to exist within, nor is it outside, nor is it the absence of both. It is also not seen to wander and abide in external realms, but for the sake of accumulating roots of virtue, for the sake of fully ripening sentient beings, and for the sake of fully upholding the sacred Dharma, even for the sake of the mind of omniscience, that mind is also proclaimed to other sentient beings and other individuals, and that mind also becomes realized as the very nature of the true limit. If asked, the very nature of the mind realizes the very nature of all sentient beings, and the very nature of all sentient beings realizes the very nature of all dharmas, and the very nature of all dharmas realizes the very nature of all roots of virtue, and the very nature of all roots of virtue expresses the very nature of the Bodhisattva, that is, son of the gods, expressing the true wisdom of the Bodhisattva. Son of the gods, furthermore, when the Bodhisattva gives alms, whatever is given, by whom it is given, to whom it is given, where it is given, and where it is completely dedicated, those are thoroughly given away, not relied upon, not dwelled upon, not clung to, not touched, not fixated upon, and not truly seen after. If asked, the very nature of thorough giving, the very nature of thorough non-fixation, and the very nature of thorough emptiness, those are realized as the very nature of giving. The very nature of giving realizes the very nature of the true limit, and the very nature of the true limit realizes the very nature of all dharmas, and the very nature of all dharmas realizes the very nature of all sentient beings, and the very nature of all sentient beings expresses the very nature of the Bodhisattva. Son of the gods, that is the true wisdom of the Bodhisattva, expressing complete purification through giving. Son of the gods, furthermore, when the Bodhisattva realizes the near pacification of discipline through the near pacification of the body, and realizes the near pacification of discipline through the near pacification of speech and the near pacification of mind,

Through the pacification of body, speech, and mind, one realizes the pacification of enlightenment. Through the pacification of enlightenment, one realizes the pacification of sentient beings. Through the pacification of sentient beings, one realizes the pacification of all phenomena. Through the pacification of all phenomena, one realizes what is called the pacification of the ultimate reality. Because that ultimate reality is pacified, it is peaceful, extremely peaceful, and nearly peaceful. If asked, one indicates that all phenomena are inherently peaceful. Son of the gods, this is the indication of the bodhisattva's true knowledge, completely purified by ethics. Son of the gods, furthermore, when a bodhisattva abides in the nature of extreme exhaustion, the nature of extreme momentariness, and the nature of extreme Yama-rāja, he also endures all the misdeeds of all sentient beings. When he endures without arousing inner or outer thoughts, and when he does not let go of the thoughts that would cause anger, but endures all the misdeeds of all sentient beings. Whatever the nature of those sentient beings is, that is the nature of patience. Whatever the nature of patience is, that is the nature of enlightenment. Whatever the nature of enlightenment is, that is the nature of all phenomena. He realizes that all phenomena are also the nature of ultimate reality. If asked, he indicates patience through the absence of obstruction, by realizing the nature of extreme exhaustion, the nature of extreme momentariness, and the nature of extreme Yama-rāja. Son of the gods, this is the indication of the bodhisattva's true knowledge, completely purified by patience. Son of the gods, furthermore, when a bodhisattva realizes the dharma that is devoid of all thoughts, without superimposition, endowed with equanimity, and engages in diligence, whatever he engages in, he truly sees as emptiness. Because of that emptiness of illness, he does not wander outside, but wanders in order to ripen sentient beings. Because of the emptiness of diligence, he realizes that sentient beings are empty. Because sentient beings are empty, he realizes that enlightenment is empty. Because enlightenment is empty, he realizes that all phenomena are empty. Because all phenomena are empty, the truth
