The armor is put on and does not waver. From many past victorious ones, through the accomplishment of pure actions, therefore, having well put on the armor, one is always without fear. Sentient beings have thoughts of existence, benefiting the world, through the thorough understanding of skillful means, the armor is well established. What is skillful wisdom? The Bodhisattva thoroughly understands, having thus put on the armor, one cuts through all bonds. Completely abandoning all attachment, faith does not turn its back, the one who possesses armor and wisdom will proceed to unsurpassed enlightenment. The Bodhisattva will definitely benefit self and others, dwelling well in the power of diligence, steadfast and irreversible. Second Chapter. Furthermore, Bodhisattvas Mahasattvas of boundless wisdom, from immeasurable kalpas, carrying great burdens and wearing great armor, such armor will not be seen by demons, retinues of demons, messengers of demons, or sentient beings who have entered the dense forest of wrong views and evil families. Why is that? Because it is formless and invisible, without reliance and without characteristics, having abandoned characteristics, it is separate from characteristics, and without name or letters. Boundless wisdom, even if someone were to shoot a mountain of arrows like Mount Sumeru, they would not hit. All sentient beings in the three thousand great thousand world realms become kings of demons, and each one is surrounded by various retinues of demonic armies. Even if they simultaneously shoot sharp arrows like Mount Sumeru, they cannot harm the Bodhisattva Mahasattva who has put on such armor, not even a single hair can be harmed. Bodhisattvas Mahasattvas cannot even generate different thoughts in their minds, so what need is there to speak of harming them with their bodies? If Bodhisattvas Mahasattvas single-mindedly subdue them, they will defeat many demons and also bring them to peace. Abiding in such armor, unwavering, all sentient beings...

also cannot be completely destroyed. What is the reason for that? It is because it is without characteristics, and because it is not the domain of conduct to be seen by sentient beings, all sentient beings cannot see and know it. Bodhisattvas, great beings, know and see those who have put on great armor as it is in reality in order to realize all dharmas. In order to completely protect sentient beings, they do not cling to all dharmas. In order to benefit sentient beings, they do not focus on all dharmas. Therefore, sentient beings cannot see and know it. Those who have put on such armor have no characteristics of color and cannot be shown, and because there is no expression of words, they will not be the same as form. Nor will it be the same as feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness. It will not be the same as inside, it will not be the same as outside, it will not be the same as both inside and outside, it will not be the same as neither inside nor outside. Nor will it be the same as the realm, nor will it be the same as the source. It will not be the same as the earth element, nor will it be the same as water, fire, wind, space, and the realm of consciousness. Nor will it be the same as the desire realm, nor will it be the same as the form realm and the formless realm. It will not be the same as with intention, nor will it be the same as without intention. It will not be the same as with intention and without intention, it will not be the same as neither with intention nor without intention. Nor will it be the same as the Hearer's ground, nor will it be the same as the Solitary Buddha's ground, nor will it be the same as the Buddha's ground. Nor will it be the same as the path of words, nor will it be the same as the cause of form,

Nor will it be the same as the characteristic of form. It will not be the same as the cause of feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness. Nor will it be the same as the characteristic of feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness. Nor will it be the same as characteristic and non-characteristic. Nor will it be the same as all dharmas. Nor will it be not the same, because there is no bondage, no liberation, it is countable, and it is not to be understood by examples, because all dharmas have truly transcended the countable. Those who possess such armor do not truly perceive seeing in all dharmas, nor do they truly perceive seeing in form. Nor do they truly perceive seeing in feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness. They do not even truly perceive seeing in a small amount of dharma. Likewise, such divided armor is neither the same as all dharmas, nor is it not the same. It is neither the same as form, nor is it not the same. It is neither the same as feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness, nor is it not the same, because the sameness and non-sameness of all dharmas are abandoned. Likewise, such divided armor has no manifest action, because there is no action. There is also no mark, because there is no mark itself. There is no mark of place, no mark of assembly, no mark of discrimination, no movement, no aim, no seeing as self-nature, and the division of armor itself is also without aim. Likewise, the division of armor itself is not truly seen. Why is that? Because when Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas truly divide the armor, they do not truly see by whom the armor is divided, where the armor is divided, from where the armor is divided, nor do they truly see that I divide the armor, I divide the armor, nor do they truly see that the armor is divided here, and the armor is divided there.
