为了使（众生）安住于完全清净的戒律，应当披上伟大的盔甲。为了使（众生）安住于完全清净的忍辱，应当披上伟大的盔甲。为了使（众生）安住于完全清净的精进，应当披上伟大的盔甲。为了使（众生）安住于完全清净的禅定，应当披上伟大的盔甲。为了使（众生）安住于完全清净的智慧，应当披上伟大的盔甲。为了使（众生）获得安乐，应当披上伟大的盔甲。为了生起与利益众生的事物相同的心，应当披上伟大的盔甲。为了成为众生贪欲、嗔恨和愚痴的内在对治，应当披上伟大的盔甲。为了善巧地成就伟大的功德，应当披上伟大的盔甲。为了圆满无上的智慧，应当披上伟大的盔甲。为了从轮回的怖畏中完全救护众生，应当披上伟大的盔甲。为了圆满显示无与伦比的智慧，应当披上伟大的盔甲。为了与三千大千世界中所有的魔、魔眷属、魔使者、魔业所依者以及各种邪见稠林，以及所有步入歧途的异教徒教派，以及所有与世间常人、异教徒相合之人战斗，应当披上伟大的盔甲。菩萨摩诃萨们如是披上伟大的盔甲，不舍弃盔甲，生起大精进，进入一切众生界，安住于忍辱，舍弃一切怖畏，做到不惊不惧、不动不摇，披上无与伦比的勇猛盔甲。即是说，救护一切众生的盔甲，斩断一切邪见稠林的盔甲，摧毁一切魔军的盔甲，如实摄取智慧的盔甲，成熟无量无边之众的盔甲，解脱重负者的盔甲。

In order to establish (beings) in completely pure morality, one should don the great armor. In order to establish (beings) in completely pure patience, one should don the great armor. In order to establish (beings) in completely pure diligence, one should don the great armor. In order to establish (beings) in completely pure concentration, one should don the great armor. In order to establish (beings) in completely pure wisdom, one should don the great armor. In order to enable (beings) to attain happiness, one should don the great armor. In order to generate a mind that is identical with the means of benefiting beings, one should don the great armor. In order to become the inner antidote to the desire, hatred, and ignorance of beings, one should don the great armor. In order to skillfully accomplish great qualities, one should don the great armor. In order to perfect unsurpassed wisdom, one should don the great armor. In order to completely protect beings from the fear of samsara, one should don the great armor. In order to fully reveal incomparable wisdom, one should don the great armor. In order to fight against all the maras, the retinues of maras, the messengers of maras, those who rely on the actions of maras, and the thickets of wrong views in the three-thousand great-thousand world system, as well as all those who have gone forth from heretical teachings who have also entered the path, and as many as are in accordance with worldly commoners and heretics, one should don the great armor. Bodhisattvas, great beings, thus don the great armor, and without abandoning the armor, generate great diligence, enter into all realms of beings, abide in patience, abandon all fears, and having become unperturbed, unafraid, unmoving, and unshaken, they should don the armor of unparalleled bravery. That is to say, the armor that completely protects all beings, the armor that cuts through all thickets of wrong views, the armor that completely destroys the armies of maras, the armor that correctly takes up wisdom, the armor that ripens immeasurable multitudes, and the armor that liberates those who are heavily burdened.
