When those five hundred Tathagatas appeared in the world, they also had gatherings of Shravakas and Bodhisattvas, which were extremely numerous. At each gathering, countless Bodhisattvas entered the path of the One Vehicle and attained the Patience of Non-Arising Dharmas. At that time, in that kalpa, there appeared a Chakravartin king named "Valiant Army," endowed with the seven precious gems, ruling over the four continents. At that time, in Jambudvipa, there was a great city with a circumference of sixteen yojanas, inhabited by eighty trillion people, extremely happy and joyful, with abundant wealth, seven layers of moats, seven layers of trees, seven layers of roads, and a thousand pleasure gardens surrounding and adorning the city. Each pleasure garden was the size of a rice field, measuring twenty yojanas. Each of them had seven layers of walls, seven layers of nets, various kinds of decorations, and extremely abundant jewels, making them very beautiful, just like the pleasure gardens of the gods. In each of them, there were ponds and pools with bases and edges made of precious vaidurya (Tibetan: བཻ་དཱུ་རྻ, Sanskrit Devanagari: वैडूर्य, Sanskrit Romanization: vaiḍūrya, literal Chinese meaning: blue glass), with pathways and terraces made of gemstone essence and various jewels, and hundreds of precious trees with various flowers in full bloom, entwined with garlands. Inside that great city, the king's palace had a circumference of seven yojanas, entirely made of gold and various jewels, with edges adorned with jewels, covered with nets of vaidurya (Tibetan: བཻ་དཱུ་རྻ, Sanskrit Devanagari: वैडूर्य, Sanskrit Romanization: vaiḍūrya, literal Chinese meaning: blue glass) and wish-fulfilling jewels, adorned with tala trees, surrounded by twelve pools, with the ground paved with pure gold, and bridges made of vaidurya (Tibetan: བཻ་དཱུ་རྻ, Sanskrit Devanagari: वैडूर्य, Sanskrit Romanization: vaiḍūrya, literal Chinese meaning: blue glass) and various jewels, with pathways and terraces made entirely of extremely abundant gold. Those pools were filled with fully blooming utpala flowers, kumuda flowers, and white lotuses. That Chakravartin king had two thousand consorts and sixty thousand sons.
