Thus he spoke. Wise and noble Bodhisattva Mahasattvas have no attainment whatsoever. There is also no special attainment. There is also no following after attainment. Without pervasive attainment, they will attain immeasurable great light of Dharma. If the Bodhisattva Mahasattva himself is invisible and unattainable, what need is there to mention that the conduct of the Bodhisattva is unattainable, let alone before it is attained? Therefore, it should be observed that after manifesting attainment for many kalpas, one will attain immeasurable great light of Dharma. Bodhisattva Mahasattvas attain the light of Dharma because all conduct is pacified and conduct is purified. The conduct of the light of Dharma is neither conduct with numerical limits, nor conduct following after characteristics, so from where is all conduct established? So-called manifest attainment is neither intimate conduct nor separate conduct. Wise and noble Bodhisattva Mahasattvas, when abiding in this conduct, abandon all conduct, so they do not completely grasp. Having this conduct is neither conduct with numerical limits, nor conduct following after characteristics, because there is no characteristic and no conduct, so this great light of Dharma will be attained. Then, at that time, the Blessed One spoke in verse: Bodhisattva has no conduct, Conduct is truly nonexistent, Having attained no conduct, One enters without fear. There is no special practice, Nor any universal practice, Without practice, without special practice, One enters into equality. This conduct cannot be shown, Nor are there any characteristics, When conduct and characteristics are gone, This is the characteristic of conduct. Bodhisattva acts without characteristics, Does not abide in all things, Because there is no action and no abiding, The wise can realize it. Because there is no action, there is no movement, This action is unparalleled, What is practiced in the action without movement

Through diligence, one becomes thoroughly engaged. The Bodhisattva has no object of focus. These actions are invisible, and the physical body is also unseen. This is excellent conduct. Without form, color, or characteristics, therefore all actions are absent. There is no clinging to views; this is an unparalleled practice. The Bodhisattva practices the supreme, not falling into designations, and because there is no transformation, there is no clinging there. Because there is no designation in action, it is called the supreme action. If this action is obtained, then the great light of Dharma will be obtained. The Bodhisattva's action is accomplished, without words, and without measure of kalpas. Even in immeasurable kalpas, actions are shown. Because the Bodhisattva's conduct is pure, it dwells in purity. Because all actions are abandoned, there is nothing to be grasped. The Bodhisattva abides in equanimity, protecting all actions. Because all actions are abandoned, one abides in equanimity. The Bodhisattva's actions are immeasurable, utterly abandoning end and endlessness. Because that action is unwavering, it is called the supreme action. The Bodhisattva's action is without characteristics; this practitioner is supreme. This action is action; it has truly transcended the realm of demons. The Bodhisattva's action is without characteristics; because the absence of characteristics is clearly realized, one does not rely on characteristics or the absence of characteristics. The Bodhisattva abides in this wisdom; this action is well accomplished. Because there is not the slightest action, it is called no action. The Bodhisattva is utterly pure, without fear of actions. By engaging with true mindfulness, this is excellent abiding. Then, Bodhisattva Mahasattva Blo-gros Phagpa (Intelligence Supreme) asked the Bhagavan: "Bhagavan, the various manifestations of conduct that noble beings accomplish are very profound. Because of this, childish ordinary people with characteristics and manifest accumulations cannot practice even a little bit of these manifest accomplishments. This is very rare. Bhagavan, can even a small amount of Dharma enter into this conduct?"
