From each of them, water flowed rapidly, creating beautiful sounds like playing many musical instruments. Each small pond had eight steps. The great pool of incense light had thirty-two steps, all of which were entirely made of gold, surrounded by precious trees, covered with precious nets, and filled with the fragrance of supreme incense throughout the city, so these pools were called incense light. The wheel-turning king of boundless wisdom had four queens: Immeasurable Incense, Excellent Sound, Supreme Various Sounds, and Swan King-like Sound. Each queen had two sons: Supreme Non-Devourer of Ghosts, Supreme Goodness, Supreme Naga, Supreme Sound, Supreme Sound, Brahma Sound, Supreme Cloud, and Cloud Sound. He had six hundred thousand concubines and ten thousand sons. At that time, in the king's palace, the retinue together enjoyed joy and play, and from the sky they saw a supremely beautiful body of the Tathagata. Then, that Tathagata spoke to the king thus: O great king, put on the unsurpassed armor, ride the unsurpassed vehicle, enter into the unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment, and give the medicine of wisdom to sentient beings. Do not be attached to the five objects of desire of gods and humans. This great armor brings forth unsurpassed bliss. This unsurpassed vehicle also leads beings into the unsurpassed garden of joy, and whoever enters therein will not turn back. The various desires of all gods and humans are impermanent, of the nature of destruction and change, their power does not last long, and they are of the nature of immediate cessation. At the time of boundless wisdom, the great king All-Meaning-Accomplished heard the Tathagata speak thus.

He prayed thus: Who can skillfully reveal such great armor? I shall truly wear this armor. Who can skillfully reveal such a great vehicle? I shall truly seek this great vehicle. Who can skillfully reveal such a great path? I shall truly enter this great path. After praying thus, at that time, the Tathagata said to the great king: King, you should know this. There exists one named Tathagata Sandalwood Fragrance Light, King, you go to that place. Great King, he will truly reveal how to wear great armor, how to ride the great vehicle, and the Dharma of how to enter the great path. After that, the Tathagata said thus and disappeared. Endless Wisdom, at that time, the great king All Meaning Accomplished saw such a thing, his hair stood on end, he developed a thought of wonder and a fearful mind, lost interest in the various pleasures of gods and humans, completely wearied of all conditioned phenomena, and in order to completely seek great armor, the great vehicle, and the great path, together with eight princes, four consorts, other sons, attendants, and servants, he went to the place where Tathagata Sandalwood Fragrance Light was. Having arrived there, together with his retinue, he respectfully bowed his head to the feet of the Bhagavan, and with hundreds of thousands of various seven-jeweled flowers, he offered them to the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One. Furthermore, he offered immeasurable clothing to the Tathagata and the seven assemblies of Shravakas. Furthermore, with all the means of comfort, he served, revered, and made offerings for ten thousand years. After that, having abandoned the kingship, together with his retinue, he renounced in the teachings of Tathagata Sandalwood Fragrance Light.

When all purposes were accomplished, the thoughts of the retinue's aspirations were taken into his heart, and he distinguished what the arrangement of armor and the arrangement of the Great Vehicle were, and truly showed them to them. Having heard this, they generated a very firm mind, and for the sake of the profound Dharma, until the end of their lives, they straightened their bodies, diligently meditated without negligence, and constantly relied on the Tathagata, thereby obtaining a mental application that was not moved by all worldly desires. At that time, the Tathagata of Infinite Wisdom spoke to the monk named Accomplished All Purposes: 'Son of the lineage, now that you have donned great armor and are riding the Great Vehicle, if you truly enter the path, then by means of this path, you will manifestly accomplish the omniscient wisdom and the incomparable wisdom, so you should properly and diligently meditate with effort.' After saying this, the monk named Accomplished All Purposes said to the Tathagata Sandalwood Fragrance Light: 'Bhagavan, I have not truly seen the Dharma called armor, nor have I truly seen the act of donning armor, nor have I truly seen the direction of proceeding after donning armor, nor have I truly seen the place of donning armor. Bhagavan, I have not truly seen the Dharma called vehicle, nor have I truly seen the act of riding the Great Vehicle, nor have I truly seen the direction of proceeding by vehicle, nor have I truly seen the place sought in the Great Vehicle. Bhagavan, I have not truly seen the Dharma called path, nor have I truly seen the act of entering, will enter, and is entering by means of this path, nor have I truly seen the direction of proceeding by the path, nor have I truly seen the place of the path. Bhagavan, I have not seen what is called distant, what is called near, what is past, and what is future in relation to the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment.'
