罗！舍利子，如是如来应供正遍知诸佛逝后，菩萨摩诃萨众证得无上正等菩提。证得无上正等菩提成佛后，以正法解除一切饥渴众生的饥渴，使正法丰收，僧伽丰收。舍利子，因此，诸佛世尊以树木般摄持菩萨摩诃萨众。舍利子，若有菩萨摩诃萨听闻、受持、读诵、通达、广为他人宣说世尊如来应供正遍知不动佛之功德名号，并使众多百千有情、众多千百有情、众多百万有情、众多亿兆百千有情亦如是受持、安立、安置此法门，并为往生彼佛刹而发愿，则彼等一切皆得往生彼佛刹。舍利子，又若有菩萨摩诃萨听闻、受持、读诵、通达、广为他人宣说世尊如来应供正遍知不动佛之功德名号，并使众多百千有情、众多千百有情、众多百万有情、众多亿兆百千有情亦如是受持、安立、安置此法门，若未为往生彼佛刹而发愿，菩提

Ro! Sharadati's son, likewise, after the Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddhas have passed away, the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas will attain the unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment. After attaining the unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment and becoming Buddhas, they will relieve the famine of all sentient beings who are suffering from the famine of the sacred Dharma by teaching the sacred Dharma, and the year of the sacred Dharma will be prosperous, and the year of the Sangha will be prosperous. Sharadati's son, therefore, the Buddhas, the Bhagavat, hold the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas as trees. Sharadati's son, if any Bodhisattva Mahasattva listens to, hears, holds, recites, comprehends, and extensively and correctly teaches others this Dharma discourse that completely praises the qualities of the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha Akshobhya, and also causes many hundreds of thousands of sentient beings, many thousands of hundreds of sentient beings, many hundreds of thousands of sentient beings, and many billions of hundreds of thousands of sentient beings to correctly hold, enter, and establish this Dharma discourse, and also makes aspirations for the sake of being born in that Buddha-field, then all of those will be born in that Buddha-field. Sharadati's son, furthermore, if any Bodhisattva Mahasattva listens to, hears, holds, recites, comprehends, and extensively and correctly teaches others this Dharma discourse that completely praises the qualities of the Bhagavan Tathagata Arhat Samyaksambuddha Akshobhya, and also causes many hundreds of thousands of sentient beings, many thousands of hundreds of sentient beings, many hundreds of thousands of sentient beings, and many billions of hundreds of thousands of sentient beings to correctly hold, enter, and establish this Dharma discourse, if they do not make aspirations for the sake of being born in that Buddha-field, Bodhi

Those Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas should be known as irreversible, and should be known as being prophesied to attain unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. They will attain unsurpassed perfect enlightenment in their respective Buddha-fields. Sharadwati's son, furthermore, some Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas also uphold, hold, recite, and comprehend this Dharma discourse that extensively proclaims the qualities of the Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha, the Immovable One, even from the Shravakas, and extensively and truthfully reveal it to others. Having upheld, held, recited, and comprehended it, they extensively and truthfully reveal it to others, thereby enabling many hundreds of thousands, many thousands of thousands, many hundreds of thousands of thousands, and many billions of trillions of hundreds of thousands of beings to also truthfully uphold and hold this Dharma discourse, and establish and well establish it. If they cause many hundreds of thousands of beings to generate roots of virtue, then as they cause sentient beings to generate roots of virtue, they will draw closer to unsurpassed perfect enlightenment. Sharadwati's son, therefore, Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas who wish to quickly attain unsurpassed perfect enlightenment should uphold, hold, recite, and comprehend this Dharma discourse that extensively proclaims the qualities. Having upheld, held, recited, and comprehended it, they should also explain it to many hundreds of thousands, many thousands of thousands, many hundreds of thousands of thousands, and many billions of trillions of hundreds of thousands of beings, and truthfully and well reveal it. Why is that? Sharadwati's son, in this way, as Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas explain this Dharma discourse, they will draw closer to the karma of becoming greatly wise. Having done and accumulated the karma of becoming greatly wise, they will thereby attain the exhaustion of defilements with their very body.

罗！舍利子，声闻乘的种姓之子，或种姓之女，无论谁，听闻、受持、忆持、读诵、通达如来、应供、正等觉、不动如来功德名号的此法门，并为他人广为如实宣说，也能使成百上千的众生，成千上万的众生，成百千的众生，成千百万亿的众生，对此法门如实信受、安立、安置，所有这些人都能以自身证得阿罗汉果。舍利子，如果他们不能以自身证得阿罗汉果，也不会超越第二次证得正等觉。舍利子，因此，想要以自身证得阿罗汉果的声闻乘种姓之子或种姓之女，应当听闻、受持、忆持、读诵、通达如来、应供、正等觉、不动如来功德名号的此法门，并为他人广为如实宣说，也能使成百上千的众生，成千上万的众生，成百千的众生，成千百万亿的众生，对此法门如实信受、受持、安置。为什么呢？舍利子，因为如此受持正法的种姓之子或种姓之女，将能以自身证得阿罗汉果。舍利子，无论哪个种姓之子或种姓之女，在适当的时候为他人如实宣说此功德名号法门，他们将能以自身证得阿罗汉果。

Sharadwati's son, any son or daughter of a lineage of the Hearer Vehicle, who, having heard and listened to this Dharma discourse on the complete enumeration of the qualities of the Bhagavan, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened Buddha Akshobhya, will hold it, retain it, read it, fully comprehend it, and also extensively and correctly teach it to others, and will also cause hundreds of thousands of sentient beings, millions of sentient beings, hundreds of thousands of sentient beings, and hundreds of millions of billions of sentient beings to correctly grasp and enter into this Dharma discourse, and will establish them, all those will manifest Arhatship with their own bodies. Sharadwati's son, if they do not manifest Arhatship with their own bodies, they will not transcend the second attainment of Perfect Awakening. Sharadwati's son, therefore, sons or daughters of a lineage of the Hearer Vehicle who desire to manifest Arhatship with their own bodies should listen to, hold, retain, read, and fully comprehend this Dharma discourse on the complete enumeration of the qualities of the Bhagavan, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened Buddha Akshobhya, and should also extensively and correctly teach it to others, and should also cause hundreds of thousands of sentient beings, millions of sentient beings, hundreds of thousands of sentient beings, and hundreds of millions of billions of sentient beings to correctly grasp, hold, and establish themselves in this Dharma discourse. Why is that? Sharadwati's son, because sons or daughters of a lineage who thus hold the sacred Dharma will be able to manifest Arhatship with their own bodies. Sharadwati's son, any son or daughter of a lineage who correctly and extensively teaches this Dharma discourse on the complete enumeration of qualities to others at the appropriate time, they will be able to manifest Arhatship with their own bodies.
