是为了做事，是为了尊敬，是为了听法而来的其余天神吗？或者不是这些呢？ 然后天神之王帝释天这样想：这些人是天神，为了听闻正法而持有人的装束和标志，而且世尊如来阿罗汉正等觉不动佛就在眼前。这是为什么呢？因为我以前从未见过或听说过人们有如此的美丽、光辉和优良的福报圆满。然后世尊收回了那些神通变化。然后世尊了解了那四众眷属和欲界天子们心怀疑惑、犹豫不决，于是对天神之王帝释天说：乔尸迦，那些在世尊如来阿罗汉正等觉不动佛的佛土中出生的人，都具有天神的近行和受用。然后天神之王帝释天这样想：如果有人既能见到佛，又具有天神的受用和近行，那么那些具有天神圆满的人是值得羡慕的。如果有人从其他世界和佛土去世后，能够出生在世尊如来阿罗汉正等觉不动佛的佛土中，那么那些人也是值得羡慕的。然后具寿舍利弗对天神之王帝释天这样说：乔尸迦，你既然见到了世尊如来阿罗汉正等觉 释迦牟尼佛，也见到了世尊如来阿罗汉正等觉不动佛，乔尸迦，即使仅仅如此，你的身体也已经获得了很好的收获，那么乔尸迦，你将要出生在那个佛土中的收获，那还用说吗？然后天神之王帝释

are for doing things, for showing respect, and for listening to the Dharma? Or are they not these? Then the Lord of the Gods, Indra, thought to himself: "These are gods, holding the appearance and signs of humans in order to listen to the sacred Dharma, and the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha Akshobhya is present before them." Why is that? Because I have never before seen or heard of people having such beauty, splendor, and excellent, complete good fortune. Then the Blessed One withdrew those miraculous displays. Then the Blessed One, understanding that those four assemblies and the sons of the gods who dwell in desire were filled with doubt and hesitation, spoke to the Lord of the Gods, Indra: "Kaushika, those people who are born in the Buddha-field of the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha Akshobhya, possess the divine near-conduct and complete enjoyment." Then the Lord of the Gods, Indra, thought to himself: "If someone can see the Buddha and also possess the enjoyment and near-conduct of the gods, then those who possess the divine perfection are to be desired. If someone, having passed away from other world-realms and other Buddha-fields, is born in the Buddha-field of the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha Akshobhya, then those people are also to be desired." Then the venerable Sharadwatiputra said to the Lord of the Gods, Indra: "Kaushika, since you have seen the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha Shakyamuni, and also seen the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the perfectly complete Buddha Akshobhya, Kaushika, even if it were only that, your body has already obtained a great gain. 我心中这样想：那些听闻到完全宣说功德的此法类的人们，尚且是得到了很好的利益，更何况那些将要往生到彼佛刹土的人们，还用说什么呢？之后，世尊对帝释天说道： कौशिका (梵文天城体：कौशिक，梵文罗马拟音：kauśika，汉语字面意思： कौशिका)，那些菩萨乘的补特伽罗将要往生到彼佛刹土，他们是得到了很好的利益的。那是什么原因呢？ कौशिका (梵文天城体：कौशिक，梵文罗马拟音：kauśika，汉语字面意思： कौशिका)，那是因为他们将会安住于不退转的缘故。 कौशिका (梵文天城体：कौशिक，梵文罗马拟音：kauśika，汉语字面意思： कौशिका)，无论哪些众生，如果发起往生到彼佛刹土之心，那么他们应当在发起此心之后，立即被视为如菩萨摩诃萨不退转者一般。世尊宣说此法类时，约有五千比丘在没有执取的情况下，心从诸漏中解脱。八千菩萨乘的比丘发愿往生到彼佛刹土。五千菩萨乘的比丘尼也发愿往生到彼佛刹土。十万菩萨乘的优婆塞也发愿往生到彼佛刹土。菩萨乘的优婆夷也发愿往生到彼佛刹土。无数千的欲界天子也发愿往生到彼佛刹土。 并且，他们所有人都被如来、阿罗汉、正等觉授记，将往生到彼佛刹土，并且证得无上正等菩提。那些除此之外的其他有情，凡是发愿往生到彼佛刹土的，他们也同样会被授记证得无上正等菩提，并且在被授记之后，他们将会往生到彼佛刹土。此外，世尊宣说此法类时，此法类……

Then I thought to myself: Those who hear this discourse on the complete exposition of virtues, even they have gained a great benefit. What need is there to mention those who will be born in that Buddha-field? Then, the Blessed One said to Indra, the lord of the gods: Kauśika, those individuals of the Bodhisattva-vehicle who will be born in that Buddha-field, they have gained a great benefit. Why is that? Kauśika, it is because they will abide in irreversibility. Kauśika, whatever beings generate the mind to be born in that Buddha-field, they should be regarded as irreversible Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas immediately after generating that mind. When the Blessed One spoke this discourse, about five thousand monks, without clinging, had their minds completely liberated from the outflows. Eight thousand monks of the Bodhisattva-vehicle made aspirations to be born in that Buddha-field. Five thousand nuns of the Bodhisattva-vehicle also made aspirations to be born in that Buddha-field. One hundred thousand laymen of the Bodhisattva-vehicle also made aspirations to be born in that Buddha-field. Laywomen of the Bodhisattva-vehicle also made aspirations to be born in that Buddha-field. Countless thousands of desire-realm gods also made aspirations to be born in that Buddha-field. And all of them were predicted by the Tathagata, Arhat, Perfectly Awakened One, to be born in that Buddha-field and to attain unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment. Those other sentient beings who will make aspirations to be born in that Buddha-field, they will also be predicted to attain unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment, and after being predicted, they will be born in that very Buddha-field. Through the power and blessing of this, the entire three-thousand great thousand world realms shook in six ways. Shaking, extremely shaking. Universally extremely shaking. Moving, extremely moving. Universally extremely moving. Tilting, extremely tilting. Universally extremely tilting. Agitating, extremely agitating. Universally extremely agitating. Roaring, extremely roaring. Universally extremely roaring. Flashing, extremely flashing. Universally extremely flashing, and also pervaded by great light appearing in the world. The Bhagavan thus declared, and the son of the venerable Sharadati, and the venerable Ananda, the four great kings, the lord of the gods Indra, the lord of the Sahā world Brahma, those monks, the retinue complete with all, and the world with gods, humans, asuras, gandharvas, rejoiced, and praised the words spoken by the Bhagavan. The sixth chapter, entitled "The Chapter on the Arrangement of the Immovable One," from the Great Collection of Precious Jewels, a Dharma teaching in one hundred thousand sections, is complete.
