It will also become land. After death, they will also be born in the Buddha-field, world, and Land of Great Bliss of the Bhagavan, Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha, Akshobhya Buddha. Whenever a son or daughter of good family practices the Dharma of generosity, at the time of their death, they will see the Bhagavan, Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha, Akshobhya Buddha, and having seen him, all their sins will be purified, and they will be born in that Buddha-field. Sharadwati's son, the Bhagavan, Tathagata, Arhat, Samyak-sambuddha, Akshobhya Buddha, when he practiced the conduct of a Bodhisattva in the past, made the following aspiration: "Alas! May I attain the unsurpassed, perfect, complete, and perfect enlightenment. At the time of death, I will appear before them together with the retinue of the Shravaka Sangha, and the assembly of Bodhisattvas will also gaze upon them. After seeing me, may they develop joy and faith, not forget mindfulness, not be disturbed by delusion, and after death, may they all be born in my Buddha-field." Sharadwati's son, for example, there is a city that has neither a delightful garden nor a pleasure garden, and there are no rivers, ponds, canals, streams, or pools to enjoy, nor are there horses or elephants. There are only sand, gravel, stones, and rubble, filled with dense thorns, making it difficult to pass through. Sharadwati's son, in that city, even if there dwells a king with great power and an army. Sharadwati's son, that city is not beautiful because it is devoid of the qualities that a city should have. Sharadwati's son, in this way, even if that king has great power and an army, that city is not beautiful because it is devoid of the qualities that a city should have. Sharadwati's son, just as that king has great power and an army, so too, Sharadwati's son, in this three-thousand great-thousand world, the Tathagata is the Dharma King,

is endowed with qualities. Sharadwati's son, however, my Buddha-field is not beautiful because it does not have such qualities and arrangements of the Buddha-field of Akshobhya. Sharadwati's son, if such qualities and arrangements of the Buddha-field were to appear in my Buddha-field as well, then just as the Buddha-field of the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened One, Akshobhya, is beautiful now, so too would my Buddha-field become beautiful. Sharadwati's son, therefore, a Bodhisattva Mahasattva who desires to completely purify and completely uphold the qualities and arrangements of a Buddha-field should, just as the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened One, Akshobhya, in the past, when practicing the conduct of a Bodhisattva, completely purified and completely upheld the qualities and arrangements of a Buddha-field, so too should he completely purify and completely uphold them. Sharadwati's son, furthermore, since I attained the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment and became a Buddha, I have established beings in the fruit of stream-entry, or in the fruit of once-returning, or in the fruit of non-returning, or in Arhatship, or in self-enlightenment. Sharadwati's son, even if all the Shravakas who have tamed other beings were gathered together by my Shravakas, they would not even approach one part in a hundred of the Sangha of Shravakas of the Blessed One, the Tathagata, the Arhat, the Perfectly Awakened One, Akshobhya, not even one part in a thousand, a hundred thousand, a hundred million, a thousand million, a hundred thousand million, a hundred trillion million, nor could they be tolerated in number, part, counting, example, or cause. Why is that? Because they are immeasurable and countless, and it is impossible to measure them by liberation. Sharadwati's son, let alone my Shravakas. Sharadwati's son, in the future,

Those Śrāvakas of the Tathāgata, Arhat, Samyaksaṃbuddha Maitreya, whoever will appear in the future, and all those Śrāvakas who will tame other sentient beings, even if all those Śrāvakas are completely gathered, they do not even come close to one hundredth part of the Saṃgha of Śrāvakas of the Blessed One, the Tathāgata, Arhat, Samyaksaṃbuddha Akṣobhya. Not even one thousandth part, one hundred thousandth part, one millionth part, one ten millionth part, one hundred millionth part, one hundred trillionth part, number, part, calculation, simile, and cause cannot bear it. What is the reason for that? Śāradātīputra, the Blessed One, the Tathāgata, Arhat, Samyaksaṃbuddha Akṣobhya, the measure of those sentient beings who were tamed by each time he taught the Dharma, cannot be grasped by anyone. Śāradātīputra, let alone my Śrāvakas! Let alone the Śrāvakas of the Blessed One, the Tathāgata, Arhat, Samyaksaṃbuddha Maitreya! Śāradātīputra, whatever Śrāvakas of all the Blessed Buddhas of the Good Aeon in the future will appear, and whatever other Śrāvakas those Śrāvakas will tame, even if all those Śrāvakas are completely gathered, they do not even come close to one hundredth part of the Śrāvakas of the Blessed One, the Tathāgata, Arhat, Samyaksaṃbuddha Akṣobhya. After he spoke thus, the venerable Śāradātīputra said this to the Blessed One:
