In the realm of Sukhavati, all beings who have been born, are being born, and will be born possess beautiful forms, colors, strength, abilities, vastness, power, accumulated merit, and supernormal knowledge. They also possess various objects of enjoyment such as clothing, ornaments, gardens, palaces, and mansions. They also possess various objects of enjoyment such as beautiful forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and tactile sensations. They have all kinds of enjoyment and use, just like the gods of Paranirmitavasavartin. Noble friend, the beings of the world of Sukhavati do not eat coarse food that is consumed by the mouth. They know that whatever kind of food they desire, that kind of food will be available to them, and their bodies will be satisfied and their forms will be fulfilled. Moreover, these foods do not enter their bodies. When their bodies are satisfied, they will emit various kinds of divine fragrances that they desire, and they will perfume all the Buddha fields with these fragrances. In that place, for those who do not wish to smell a certain fragrance, even the concept and thought of that fragrance will not arise. Similarly, whatever kinds of incense, garlands, ointments, powders, umbrellas, banners, flags, and musical instruments they desire, those kinds of things will pervade the entire Buddha field. Whatever different colors of clothing they desire, hundreds and thousands of different precious clothes will pervade the entire Buddha field, and they themselves will know that these clothes are already worn on their bodies. For example, head ornaments, ear ornaments, neck ornaments, hand ornaments, and foot ornaments, including hairpins, earrings, bracelets, armlets, necklaces, belts, nose rings, rings, golden bells, belts, golden nets, pearl nets, and nets woven from various precious bells, as well as various precious ornaments that they desire, these ornaments adorned with hundreds and thousands of precious jewels, such as ornaments hanging on precious trees, pervade the entire Buddha field.

How is the Buddha-field seen? And also knows that he is adorned with those ornaments. Those ornaments, whether color, sign, shape, width, or eaves inlaid with hundreds of thousands of kinds of jewels, jeweled thrones laid with various cushions sewn with celestial silk, and palaces with checkered pillows placed, whatever kind of palaces they want, those palaces will appear in front of them. In those palaces made of jewels, there are seven thousand seven hundred goddesses, who are surrounded by a thousand people, sitting facing forward, playing and rejoicing, joyful and cheerful. In that world, there is no difference between gods and humans, except for the names of mundane gods and humans. Venerable Ānanda, for example, in front of a universal monarch, inferior people and cannibals are neither prominent nor integrated, nor outstanding, neither frightening nor radiant. Similarly, in front of the gods of Paranirmitavasavartin, even Indra, the lord of the gods, is like this, whether it is gardens, palaces, clothes, ornaments, power, magical powers, miracles, or strength, they are neither prominent, nor integrated, nor outstanding, except for the realization of the Dharma and the enjoyment of the Dharma. Venerable Ānanda, just like the gods of Paranirmitavasavartin, so should the people of the world of Sukhāvatī be viewed. Venerable Ānanda, in that world of Sukhāvatī, when dawn approaches, winds of agitation and universal agitation will rise from all four directions. Those winds shake the jeweled trees that are beautifully decorated, pleasing to the eye, of various colors, colorful, and imbued with various kinds of fragrant celestial incense. Shaking, universally shaking, stirring, universally stirring, and then from those trees fall various kinds of flowers with pleasant fragrance and pleasing to the eye, scattered on the vast jeweled earth. Those flowers will spread the Buddha-field to the extent of seven human heights. For example, a person who is skilled at scattering flowers on the ground.

When the two hands are spread out and placed together, it is very beautiful and pleasing to the eye. Similarly, the flowers with fragrance and various characteristics cover the entire Buddha land, about seven people high. The texture of these flowers is soft, as comfortable as touching Kazzalin cloth. When people step on them, they sink about four fingers in height, and when they lift their feet, they rise about four fingers in height. After the morning has passed, these flowers will all disappear completely. After that, the Buddha land becomes quiet, pleasant, and pure, without any trace of the previous flowers. Then, winds blow from all four directions, revealing fresh flowers that had not appeared before. Just like morning, noon, afternoon, night, dawn, sky, and daybreak. The winds filled with various fragrances blow, and when they touch sentient beings, they make them feel as happy as a monk entering Nirodha-samapatti (cessation of perception and sensation). Ananda, in that Buddha land, apart from what is proclaimed by the Tathagata, there is no sun, moon, stars, the shape of constellations, nor are there names for darkness and gloom. There are also no designations for day and night. There is also no concept of houses. Ananda, in the Land of Bliss, showers of clouds of heavenly fragrant water descend from time to time. Heavenly flowers with all kinds of colors, the seven treasures of the gods, heavenly sandalwood powder, and showers of heavenly umbrellas, banners, and flags also descend. Heavenly musical instruments are also played. Heavenly jeweled umbrellas and whisks also flutter in the sky. The sounds of heavenly music resound, and heavenly maidens also dance. Ananda, in that Buddha land, all sentient beings who have been born and will be born are certain to be correct until Nirvana. Why is that? Because that
