It is called Napa. Its light is immaculate, exceedingly vast, producing happiness in the body, gladdening the mind, and causing joy and supreme delight to gods, asuras, kumbhandas, yakshas, gandharvas, garudas, mahoragas, kinnaras, humans, and non-humans, producing happiness, and for sentient beings with virtuous thoughts, causing virtue, lightness, realization, wisdom, intelligence, and supreme joy. Ananda, in this way, other boundless and limitless Buddha-fields are completely filled by the Tathagata. Throughout the kalpas, the Tathagata Amitabha, with his name as the cause of his activity, and even speaking from the perfection of light, is only naming him, and the limit of the qualities of the perfection of light cannot be understood, and the fearlessness of the Tathagata will not be cut off. Why is that? Ananda, for example, the qualities and wealth of the light of the Bhagavan Amitabha, and the wisdom and unsurpassed eloquence of the Tathagata, both of these are countless, immeasurable, inconceivable, and boundless. Ananda, the Shravaka Sangha of the Tathagata Amitabha is immeasurable, is it said that there are so many billions of Shravakas? Or are there so many hundreds of billions of Shravakas? Or are there so many hundreds of billions of Shravakas? Or are there so many thousands of billions of Shravakas? Or are there so many ghatams of Shravakas? Or are there so many krtis of Shravakas? Or are there so many khrakhriks of Shravakas? Or are there so many therbums of Shravakas? Or are there so many immovable Shravakas? Or are there so many distinct Shravakas? Or are there so many continuous Shravakas? Or are there so many victorious Shravakas? Or are there so many immeasurable Shravakas? Or are there so many countless Shravakas? Or are there so many innumerable Shravakas? Or are there so many incomparable Shravakas? Or are there so many inconceivable Shravakas? It is not easy to measure its quantity. Ananda, for example, if the great monk Maudgalyayana, who has obtained power over miraculous abilities, wants, the three thousand great thousand

In such-and-such a world realm, however many stars there are, all of them have the miraculous power to be counted in a single day and night, there are hundreds of thousands of billions. Apart from these, without doing anything else, even if one were to count the first assembly of the Hearers of the Thus-Gone One Limitless Light for hundreds of thousands of billions of years, one would not be able to count even one percent of them, not even in terms of thousands, hundreds of thousands, parts, comparisons, or causes. Ananda, it is like this: if a certain person were to take a single drop of water with the tip of a hair split into a hundred parts from the great ocean, which is eighty-four thousand yojanas deep and immeasurable in extent, Ananda, what do you think? Which is more, the single drop of water taken with the tip of a hair split into a hundred parts, or the mass of water remaining in the great ocean? He replied: Blessed One, even a thousand yojanas is less than the great ocean, so what need is there to mention taking a drop of water with the tip of a hair split into a hundred parts? The Blessed One said: Ananda, a single drop of water is like this: even if monks like the son of Maudgalyayana were to count the first assembly of Hearers of the Blessed One Thus-Gone One Limitless Light for hundreds of thousands of billions of years, they would only be able to determine how many there are. If one were to consider measuring it by the mass of water remaining in the great ocean, what need is there to mention the second and third assemblies of Hearers? The Sangha of Hearers of the Blessed One is thus limitless and boundless; it belongs to the category of numbers that are immeasurable. Ananda, the lifespan of the Blessed One Thus-Gone One Limitless Light is immeasurable; is it so many kalpas? Is it so many hundreds of kalpas? Is it so many thousands of kalpas? Is it so many hundreds of thousands of kalpas? Is it so many billions of kalpas? Is it so many billions of kalpas? Is it so many hundreds of billions of kalpas? From so many hundreds of thousands of billions of kalpas to so many billions of billions

It is not easy to understand the measure of life up to the point of saying that hundreds of thousands of kalpas have passed. Ananda, the lifespan of the Blessed One, the Tathagata Amitabha, is immeasurable in that way. Therefore, that Tathagata is called Amitabha. Ananda, since the Blessed One, the Tathagata Amitabha, attained the unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment, he has passed ten kalpas, just like the number of kalpas and the measure of kalpas in this world now. Ananda, the world of Amitabha, called Sukhavati, is abundant in wealth, prosperous in happiness, delightful, and filled with many gods and humans. Ananda, in that world, there are no hell beings. There is no place of birth for animals. There is no realm of pretas. There is no class of asuras. There is no birth in unfavorable circumstances. In the world of Sukhavati, the jewels that appear are not used in the world. Ananda, that world of Sukhavati is filled with the fragrance of various incense that is extremely soothing. Various flowers and fruits are abundant. It is well adorned with jewel trees. It is established by a gathering of birds emanated by the Tathagata, with various pleasing sounds. Ananda, those jewel trees have different colors, many colors, hundreds and thousands of colors. Ananda, those jewel trees have the color of gold and the nature of gold. They have the color of silver and the nature of silver. They have the color of beryl and the nature of beryl. They have the color of crystal and the nature of crystal. They have the color of agate and the nature of agate. They have the color of red pearls and the nature of red pearls. They have the color of the essence of jewels and the nature of the essence of jewels. Some are gold and silver and two kinds of jewels. There are also gold, silver, beryl, and three kinds of jewels.
