Also will be realized, and as wished, it will be fulfilled. Manjushri, how do Bodhisattvas skillfully understand the principle of Dharani, and after understanding, how do they skillfully know the meaning that fits the right principle, and how to skillfully understand the difference of the principle of Dharani, now I will explain. How can one know everything well? Manjushri, the eye can capture all forms, the ear can capture all sounds, the nose can capture all smells, the tongue can capture all tastes, the body can capture all touches, and the mind can capture all dharmas. Manjushri, how do the six internal dharmas capture the external dharmas? Manjushri, when a Bodhisattva sees a form with the eye, he perceives that form as impermanent, knowing it is the law of arising and ceasing, and perceives that form as extinction, detachment, and cessation. With the power of wisdom unobstructed, skillful in mindfulness, and not false, he can fully grasp the inner eye realm, but does not grasp the eye as having self or no-self. He abides in the skillfulness of the pure birth place of the eye, and practices the door of Dharani for the sake of following the object of form.

Tongue, body, and mind are also harmoniously combined in the midst of holding the Dharma. Therefore, when a Bodhisattva knows the Dharma with the mind, he universally holds the Dharma as impermanent. He truly observes that all Dharmas are of the nature of arising and ceasing, and also universally holds them as cessation, detachment, and cessation. With the power of wisdom, without hindrance, and skilled in mindfulness, he is not false, so he can universally hold the inner source of mind. He neither engages in the elaboration of self or non-self, and being skilled in universally holding various things, he thoroughly distinguishes on the ground of the consciousness of mind. After that, abiding in the purity of being skilled in the source of mind, in order to follow the focus on the Dharma, he cultivates the door of Dharani, and from the inner and outer Dharmas, he turns away from those things that would cause all combinations, thus observing its cessation, observing its detachment, observing its cessation and abiding, without any slander or elaboration. He is skilled in universally holding non-elaboration, abiding in the place where pride does not arise, and maintains equanimity towards the consciousness of mind and the Dharmas to be known, neither elaborating nor being proud. Just as seeing purity, he also remembers the equality of all Dharmas. Being skilled in the conduct of consciousness and knowable objects, he also universally holds, and with a unique view, he can also completely hold the vast accumulation of merit and wisdom. Thus, to all inner and outer Dharmas, whether past, future, or present, he completely grasps with the power of wisdom and the skillful means of a mind that follows meaning, therefore he neither correctly observes any causeless Dharma, nor correctly observes the Dharma arising from cause and condition. He recognizes that all Dharmas are independent of each other, thus truly following the nature of all Dharmas. All these Dharmas are naturally luminous, and through mutual universal holding and harmonious holding, they approach as the mode of dependence of all Dharmas.
