Therefore, Bodhisattvas, in order to be without attachment, should know all dharmas as mere names, and accord with sounds in reality, comprehend various expressions, and follow the principle of dharani. How to follow the principle of dharani? That is, not dwelling in a place, not dwelling in a direction, not belonging to any dharma, not included within, speech and truthful speech abiding equally, realizing that this is merely a designation, and comprehending the true words of all dharmas as they are. Immeasurable Adornment, the dharmas of the Tathagatas, all are without characteristics and without expression. This is the land of endurance and fearlessness, and all dharmas, whatever they may be, are taught from this gate. Although the Tathagata has taught the dharmas in various ways, the dharmas do not have the nature of being one or different, and all these dharmas are unborn and unceasing. Thus, all dharmas are shown to be emptiness, and those that are empty are without characteristics. Those that are without characteristics are without aspiration and without knowledge. Those dharmas that are empty, without characteristics, not controlled by aspiration, without knowledge, and without discrimination, cannot be said to exist or not exist, nor can they be designated as non-existent. One should not cling to the notion of non-existence. Why is that? The Tathagata has said that all dharmas are without attachment in ultimate reality. Thus, all that is attachment, and with what one is attached, and how and where one is attached, all of these are deceptive dharmas, which are the play of fluctuating delusions. Immeasurable Adornment, look at these teachings of the Dharma, whether something has not been taught or has been completely taught, nevertheless, one should say that he is a teacher. Immeasurable Adornment, such is the appearance of the Tathagata's teaching of the Dharma. Immeasurable Adornment, here the principle...

Understanding all of this is also rare. Now, those like you who appear before me and abide in the practice of understanding everything, have great faith in this Dharma. Immeasurable Array! In the future, in later times, beings who have such Dharma will all become all-knowing, that is the truth. Those who are now here, appearing before me, for the benefit of many beings, and for the happiness of many beings, have agreed that in the future we shall uphold the Dharma of the Tathagata, except for those who have made such an agreement. Immeasurable Array! Those Bodhisattvas who in the past have surpassed the Buddhas, have faith in the profound, are skilled in the ways of the profound Dharma, equally seek meaning and benefit, and have faith, will find it easy to obtain this Dharma. Immeasurable Array! The Tathagata is one who has surpassed the Buddhas of the past, has attended and served many Buddhas, has taken the profound way as his basis, is faithful, seeks virtue, has great faith and abides in the vast, strives for the Great Vehicle, does not seek the Hearer Vehicle and all of the three realms, practices the profound Dharma, this is the profound and vast Dharma that has never been heard before, immeasurable, difficult to see, difficult to realize, not in accordance with childish listeners and others, its depths are difficult to fathom, for the benefit of all sentient beings, and for the happiness of all sentient beings, he teaches it again and again, but not for those who do not seek this meaning. Immeasurable Array! The Tathagata teaches the Dharma to those who, like you, have worldly rituals, perfect enjoyment, see even the slightest fault as fearful, desire to be completely liberated from all fears, and are not lazy. For this reason, when the Tathagata practiced the conduct of a Bodhisattva in the past, he learned this profound Dharma for many billions of kalpas and attained realization. Immeasurable Array! The Tathagata will ensure that all sentient beings will correctly turn the unexcelled wheel of Dharma, that all sentient beings will see the unexcelled great wisdom, and the wisdom of all knowledge.

In order not to interrupt the lineage of..., this Dharma teaching is shown. Please bless, and by all means, may sentient beings surely be liberated by the Dharma of the Buddha, and may this Dharma of Dharani verses be expanded, and may they rejoice in this Dharma teaching, thus showing and proclaiming. Immeasurable Adornment, for those of you who have the way of learning from the Tathagata, in order to teach the Dharma to faithful sentient beings, and in order to make the Dharma extremely clear, how do Bodhisattvas extensively teach the Dharma they have heard to their retinue? As it is extremely clear, so it is to practice abiding in the Dharma itself, and to be close to the wisdom of the Buddha, and to quickly obtain Dharani, and those who have obtained Dharani also with small diligence, completely purify the gate of Dharma. Clear, white ones, be sure to hold them all. Immeasurable Adornment, all Dharmas are completely pure by nature, what is the nature of Dharmas, that is neither universally combined, nor completely separated, nor does it abide near existence and non-existence. Immeasurable Adornment, there is no Dharma in Dharmas. What is non-existent cannot be truly established anywhere. In order for sentient beings to fully know, except for surely showing the cause, the cessation of cause, being free from attachment, and cessation. Immeasurable Adornment, what is the nature and characteristics of Dharmas, there is neither cause, nor cessation of cause, nor being free from attachment, nor cessation, then look at the arising of such a completely pure Dharma teaching of the Tathagata. Chapter Two Immeasurable Adornment, if some think of the Tathagata as Dharmata, then those who see the pure form of the Tathagata are not real. Why is that? The Tathagata is neither Dharma nor non-Dharma. The Tathagata will not abide by any Dharma, then needless to say, it will abide by non-Dharma, such a view does not exist. The Tathagata is Dharma...
