以光明照耀调伏众生的法门，即：对于具有不平等想法的众生，怀有慈爱之心。对于进入不善业道者，怀有悲悯之心。对于进入善业道者，怀有欢喜之心。对于具有平等和不平等想法的众生，怀有无二之心。对于一切烦恼者，怀有清净之心。对于恐惧者，怀有真实进入之心。对于喜爱低下者，怀有生起广大喜爱之心。对于根器迟钝者，怀有极大精进之力，并使其增长之心。对于执着轮回者，怀有从轮回之流中解脱之心。对于喜爱声闻和独觉乘的众生，怀有安置于一切智道之心。种姓之子，我具有如此之心和作意，并且具有菩萨解脱，以遣除一切众生黑暗的法之光明，调伏众生的这个法门。无论有多少众生，在黑暗的夜晚，人们入睡，鬼神游荡，众多盗贼猖獗，不驯顺的众生四处游走，浓厚的黑云遮蔽一切，烟尘弥漫，可怕的暴雨倾泻，日月星辰隐没，眼睛失去作用的黑暗中，无论有多少众生，在海洋中行走，在平原上行走，在山中行走，在其他森林中行走，在其他地方行走，在其他村庄行走，在其他方向行走，在其他角落行走，或者在其他道路上行走，无论如何，在海洋中行走时船只倾覆，在平原上行走时遭遇不幸，在山中行走时坠入悬崖，在荒野中行走时缺乏食物。

The gate of taming beings with the light of Dharma, which dispels the darkness of all sentient beings, is as follows: To have a mind of loving-kindness towards sentient beings who have unequal thoughts. To have a mind of compassion towards those who have entered the path of unwholesome actions. To have a mind of joy towards those who have entered the path of wholesome actions. To have a mind of non-duality towards sentient beings who have both equal and unequal thoughts. To have a mind of purification towards all afflictions. To have a mind of truly entering towards those who have become fearful. To have a mind of fully developing a liking for vastness towards those who are fond of inferiority. To have a mind of greatly increasing the power of great diligence towards those whose faculties are weak. To have a mind of turning away from the cycle of samsara towards those who are manifestly fond of samsara. To have a mind of placing sentient beings who are manifestly fond of the vehicles of Hearers and Solitary Buddhas on the path of omniscience. Son of lineage, I possess such a mind and intention, and I also possess this gate of the Bodhisattva's liberation, which tames beings with the light of Dharma that dispels the darkness of all sentient beings. Whatever sentient beings, in the night that has become dark and gloomy, when people are asleep, hordes of spirits are wandering, many thieves are rampant, unruly sentient beings are wandering in all directions, thick black clouds are covering everything, gatherings of smoke and dust are settling everywhere, unbearable torrential rain is pouring down, the gatherings of the moon and stars are invisible, and the power of the eyes is gone, in such darkness, however many sentient beings are traveling in the ocean, traveling on the plains, traveling in the mountains, traveling in other forests, traveling in other places, traveling in other villages, traveling in other directions, traveling in other corners, or traveling on other paths, whatever the case may be, while traveling in the ocean, their boats capsize, while traveling on the plains, they encounter misfortune, while traveling in the mountains, they fall into great precipices, while traveling in the wilderness, they lack food.

Or fallen, or obstructed by the thick forest's hiding places, or fallen into an irrational misfortune, or robbed by thieves while traveling in a foreign land, or harmed by unruly people while traveling in a foreign town, or lost while traveling in a foreign direction, or disoriented while traveling in a different place, or even if just brushed past while traveling on a different road, son of the lineage, I will protect those beings through various means. For example, for those who travel in the great ocean, dispersing the black wind clouds, clarifying the turbidity of the water, preventing the endless wind wheel, pacifying the great power of the waves, freeing them from the fear of lightning, indicating direction, accurately determining the waterway, indicating the shore, and completely showing the way to reach the treasure island. Completely transforming into the form of a whale, the form of a captain, the form of the horse king Great Strength, the form of the elephant king, the form of the turtle king, the form of the Asura king, the form of the Garuda king, the form of the Kinnara king, the form of the great-bellied king, the form of the sea god, and the form of the listener, thereby providing protection. May this root of virtue also be like this, in order to completely liberate all beings from all collections of suffering, may it become protection, and may it be completely dedicated. For beings who travel on land, in the night when darkness is extremely thick, the ground is filled with alkali soil, thorns, gravel, and pebbles, extremely many venomous snakes, the road is rugged and uncomfortable, dust and fog are extremely thick, struck by fierce hailstorms, there is suffering from heat and cold, there is fear from snakes and wild animals, in a place where robbers and thieves roam, for those beings who have become disoriented, transforming into the form of the sun, the form of the moon, the form of the dawn appearing, the form of the great meteor, the form of the chain of lightning appearing, and the form of the light of jewels.
