为了使众生远离恐惧，为了从心中不安的恐惧中解救一切众生，为了完全消除一切众生的痛苦、不适和烦恼，我做了这个完全依赖一切有情的殊胜祈愿。为了平息一切众生的恐惧，我也加持了世间的忆念之门。为了使一切众生远离恐惧，我也在世间显现了自己的名号法轮。为了能像时间一样运行，为了能显现一切有情无边无际的差别相，我也加持了自己的身体。善男子，因此，我以这种方法，为了从一切恐惧中完全解脱一切众生，并获得一切佛法，发起了无上圆满正等菩提心，并且永不退转。善男子，我一旦获得了这种菩萨行之门，大悲之门，无碍之门，我便能清净一切菩萨普贤的诸佛菩提愿行坛城，通达菩萨普贤行，具足不间断积聚善法的相续，恒常安住于一切菩萨三摩地的相续，具足安住一切劫并不从修行中退转的相续，具足随顺通达一切三世之道的相续，善巧周遍一切世间界的相续，具足平息一切众生不善之心的相续，具足增长一切众生善心的相续，具足使一切众生从轮回相续中永不退转的相续。谁能知晓他们的行为，或者说出他们的功德呢？对此，应当这样说：右绕恭敬顶礼后，善财童子极其调柔地向南方行去，观世音自在仙人。

In order to free from fear, and to deliver all sentient beings from the fear of unease in their minds, and in order to completely eliminate the suffering, discomfort, and agitation of all sentient beings, I have made this supreme aspiration that completely relies on all beings. In order to pacify the fear of all sentient beings, I have also blessed the gate of remembrance in the world. In order to free all sentient beings from fear, I have also manifested my own name, the wheel, in the world. In order to be able to function as time does, and in order to manifest the infinite variety of appearances of all beings, I have also blessed my own body. Son of good family, therefore, in this way, in order to completely liberate all sentient beings from all fears, and to attain all the Buddha's teachings, I generate the unsurpassed, perfectly complete and awakened mind, and I do not turn back. Son of good family, once I have attained this gate of the Bodhisattva's conduct, the gate of great compassion, the unobstructed gate, I will be able to purify the mandala of the aspirations of all the Buddhas of all the Bodhisattvas Samantabhadra, understand the conduct of the Bodhisattva Samantabhadra, possess the continuum of uninterruptedly accumulating virtuous dharmas, constantly abide in the continuum of all Bodhisattva samadhis, possess the continuum of abiding in all kalpas and not turning back from practice, possess the continuum of following and understanding the ways of all three times, be skilled in the continuum that pervades all realms of the world, possess the continuum that pacifies the non-virtuous minds of all sentient beings, possess the continuum that increases the virtuous minds of all sentient beings, possess the continuum that causes all sentient beings to never turn back from the continuum of samsara. Who can know their actions, or express their qualities? To this, one should say: After circumambulating to the right with reverence and prostration, Sudhana went very gently towards the south, Avalokiteśvara, the free sage.

慈悲行持者，彼亦见其居于珍宝山之幽谷。 于珍宝万象金刚山之药草地， 稳坐莲花心之狮子座。 天与非天、龙与罗刹、人非人， 为胜者之子所围绕，并为其宣说佛法。 诺桑见后，生起无量欢喜。 亲近功德海，于其足下顶礼后， 如何能令我获得贤善之行？ 祈请圣者发慈悲心，予以教导与训诫。 伸出百福庄严之无垢手， 显现广大光明云网之妙善， 置于诺桑之顶，清净有情众， 观世音自在之智者如是说。 佛子我知解脱一门。 智慧之精华，诸佛之慈悲聚， 为救护一切众生，为完全摄受而生。 如慈爱自身般，恒常利益一切。 救护众多有情，脱离一切痛苦。 凡被束缚，落入敌手者， 或身受钉刺，以及被囚禁于牢狱者， 闻我之名，束缚与囚禁皆得解脱。 于诸国王前，遭受罪责诬陷、杀戮放逐者， 彼时彼等若忆念我之名， 所射之箭亦不伤其身， 利刃加身亦不入，反弹于背。 纵入权势之争，凡起争执者， 亦将战胜诸敌，获得名声。 名声、友伴、种族与财富，皆得增长。 忆念我名者，将无能胜。 凡忆念我之名者， 彼等为盗贼所惧，为敌所惧而入森林， 狮子、熊、豹、猛兽、野牦牛、毒蛇等， 亦能战胜诸敌，无所畏惧。 若有人忆念我之名， 或因嗔恨之心，将珍宝弃于坑中， 或将煤炭烈火投入其中， 火焰亦将化为莲花盛开之水池。 若瞬间忆念我之名， 即便被抛入海中，亦不至于丧命， 不为水流所卷走，不为火所焚烧。

Gods, demigods, nagas, demons, and non-humans, Are surrounded by the sons of the Victorious Ones, and he teaches them the Dharma. Having seen this, Norsang generated immeasurable joy. Having approached and prostrated at the feet of the ocean of qualities, How can I obtain the practice of goodness? I beseech the Noble One to generate compassion and to instruct and teach me. Extending his immaculate hand adorned with a hundred merits, He emanated a vast and excellent network of light clouds, Placing it upon Norsang's crown, the all-pure sentient being, The wise Lord Avalokiteśvara spoke these words. "I, the son of the Buddha, know one gate of liberation. The essence of wisdom, the compassion of all the Victorious Ones, is gathered. I have come to protect all beings and to gather them completely. Like loving oneself, I constantly benefit all. I protect many beings from all suffering. Those who are tightly bound and have fallen into the hands of enemies, Or who are pierced in the body and likewise imprisoned in jail, By hearing my name, the bound and imprisoned will be liberated. Those who have been falsely accused of crimes before kings, killed, or banished, At that time, if they remember my name, The arrow shot will not strike their body, Even if a sharp weapon is struck, it will not penetrate but turn away. Even if they go into the circle of power and quarrel, They will conquer all enemies and gain fame. Fame, friends, lineage, and wealth will increase. Those who remember my name will be invincible. Whoever remembers my name, They will go to the forest fearing thieves, fearing enemies, Lions, bears, leopards, predators, wild yaks, snakes, whatever, They will conquer all enemies and become fearless. If someone remembers my name, Or if, with a hateful mind, they throw jewels into a pit, Or if they throw burning coals and fire into it, The fires will turn into a pool of water filled with lotuses. If they remember my name for a moment, Even if they are thrown into the ocean, they will not die in it, They will not be carried away by the flood, nor burned by the fire.
