I, that one, in this Joyful City, among all the impoverished at the crossroads, all the streets, all the junctions of roads, all the suburbs, all the houses, and in all the dust and all the villages where they harmoniously gather, in all the continuations of villages, in whatever manner the women, men, children, and girls gather and assemble, how their thoughts are, how their actions are, how their power is, how their conduct is, likewise, in accordance with them, the width and shape of the body appear, and the Dharma is also taught. However, those sentient beings do not know by whom it is taught, nor from where it comes. Elsewhere, it is not that there are none who, having heard, diligently act without error. Furthermore, son of good family, in this Jambudvipa, clinging to various views like weaving a net, among all those ninety-six abodes, also in order to ripen sentient beings attached to various views, he dwells in accordance with all. Son of good family, just as I dwell in this Joyful City benefiting sentient beings, so too in all the villages, cities, regions, places, boundaries of Jambudvipa, and in all the retinues of the king's palace, he also benefits sentient beings. Just as in Jambudvipa, so too in all the worlds of the four continents, likewise in the small thousand world, the intermediate thousand world, the great thousand world, likewise in the ten directions of the world, all that should be the support of sentient beings, all that should be the dwelling of sentient beings, all that should be the basis of sentient beings, all that belongs to the name of what should be the realm of sentient beings, all places where sentient beings completely wander, all places where sentient beings completely gather, all places where sentient beings dwell in the ocean, all places where the continuum of sentient beings dwells, all that should be the aspect of sentient beings, all that should be the boundary of sentient beings, and in all places where sentient beings act, also with various means, various methods, various doors, various reasons, various encounters, and various methods of means,

Various manifestations benefit sentient beings. Completely showing various forms and colors, making them believe and rejoice, and also proclaiming various words, also benefits sentient beings. Son of good family, I only know that all the actions of a Bodhisattva follow all sentient beings. I have obtained the Bodhisattva who has an equal body with all sentient beings, the Samadhi that is no different from the bodies of myself and sentient beings, the great wheel of manifestation that pervades all the paths of Samsara, all the births of the world follow my own body, diligently striving for the wheel of manifestation that is pleasing and delightful to all sentient beings, greatly showing the lineage, bloodline, and thorny births of all sentient beings, possessing the wheel of aspiration that abides in all Kalpas without obstruction, greatly obtaining the appearance of distinguishing actions like illusions, benefiting all sentient beings but diligently abiding without attachment, comprehending the equality of the realms of beings in the three times, possessing the wisdom realm of selflessness, possessing the essence of the manifested immeasurable great compassion, diligently manifesting and generating the roots of virtue of all sentient beings, who can know those actions or proclaim the merits? Son of good family, in this southern region, there is a place called Great Country, where a spice merchant named Enjoyment Utpala lives. Go to him and ask how a Bodhisattva should train in the conduct of a Bodhisattva, and how to be diligent. After that, the merchant's son, Wealthy and Wise, bowed his head to the two feet of the All-Going Wanderer, circumambulated the All-Going Wanderer hundreds of thousands of times to the right, and looked at him again and again, and then left from the presence of the All-Going Wanderer. After that, the merchant's son, Wealthy and Wise, did not care about his body and life, did not care about all the places of attachment to the enjoyment of Samsara and the complete possession and proximity, (only focused on) the realm of sentient beings.

Does not look at all the joys. Does not look at all forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and tactile objects. Does not look at all servants, enjoyments, and intimacies. Does not look at all the happiness of kingship and power, but looks to completely purify the unsurpassed Buddha-field, to fully ripen all sentient beings, to tame and purify them. Does not become satiated by offerings, reverence, and service, but looks to all the Tathagatas. In order to penetrate the wisdom of fully understanding no-self-nature, looks to all dharmas.
