Some are dedicated to subduing sentient beings with the color and form of Shravakas, some are dedicated to subduing sentient beings with the color and form of Pratyekabuddhas, some are dedicated to subduing sentient beings with the color and form of Bodhisattvas, and some are dedicated to subduing sentient beings with the complexion and form of Buddhas. Some fully demonstrate life through all the peculiarities of past lives, thereby fully maturing sentient beings. Some enter the teachings of the Tathagata in the form of Dharma speakers, and are dedicated to granting scriptures, reciting, and properly contemplating. They adorn the stupas of the Tathagatas with ornaments, have statues of the Tathagatas made, encourage sentient beings to make offerings to the Buddha, offer incense and unguents, anoint with fragrant sesame oil, offer bells and garlands of flowers, and so on, dedicating themselves to all types of Buddha offerings, establishing sentient beings in the ten paths of virtuous action, observing the five precepts, the eight vows of refuge, and taking refuge in the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha. They establish sentient beings in ordination, listening to the Dharma, receiving scriptures, reciting, and properly contemplating. In order to speak the Dharma, they sit on lion thrones and explain the Bodhi of the Buddha in detail. In this way, Bodhisattva Maitreya practiced the six perfections for countless billions of kalpas, all of which were seen by the merchant's son Norzang in various different ways from those dazzling patterns. He saw houses stacked upon houses. In some places, Bodhisattva Maitreya attended upon many virtuous friends, and all the various emanated adornments of all those virtuous friends were also seen. He himself went to all those virtuous friends. "Come here, Norzang, have you come well? Are you not tired? Look at these bodhisattva's adornments and inconceivable emanated lands!" Thus he exhorted and spoke.
