Even in pure acceptance, the mind of enlightenment must precede it. Son of good family, for example, when a person is separated from the life force, he is powerless to do anything, and even the assembly of parents and relatives cannot revive him. Similarly, a Bodhisattva who is separated from the mind of generating omniscience also has no power to attain the wisdom of the Buddha, and even all sentient beings cannot revive him with the qualities of omniscience. Son of good family, for example, the great ocean cannot be poisoned by all poisons. Similarly, the great ocean of generating the mind of omniscience cannot be poisoned by all the poisons of karma and afflictions, and the minds of generating the mind of Hearers and Solitary Buddhas. Son of good family, for example, the orb of the sun cannot be overcome by the light of all the stars. Similarly, the orb of the sun of generating the mind of omniscience cannot be overcome by the light of all the untainted qualities of the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas. Son of good family, for example, even if a prince is born and has not been long in this world, he can still, by virtue of his noble birth and power, subdue all the ministers who are to be regarded as the best. Similarly, even if a Bodhisattva has not been long in generating the mind of enlightenment, even a beginner born into the lineage of the Dharma King, the Thus-Gone One, can subdue all the elder Hearers who have long practiced celibacy by the power of the great compassion of the mind of enlightenment. Son of good family, for example, no matter how old a minister is, he must pay homage to the young prince, no matter how young he is. The prince should not fail to respect the old minister. Similarly, no matter how old the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas are, and how long they have practiced celibacy, they should still respect the Bodhisattva who is a beginner. The Bodhisattva should not fail to respect the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas. Son of good family, for example, the king's

Even if all the children do not need to do something, if they have the title of king, then the noble Brahmin of the lineage cannot be compared to all the virtuous ministers of the king. Similarly, a Bodhisattva who is a beginner, even if oppressed by all the close acquisitions of karma and afflictions, if he has the title of generating the mind for omniscience, due to the nobility and greatness of the Buddha's lineage, he cannot be compared to all the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas who have reached the peak. Son of the lineage, for example, a completely pure jewel appears impure if there is a cataract in the eye. Similarly, the jewel of generating the mind for omniscience, which is pure by nature, also appears impure to those sentient beings whose eyes of faith have the defect of cataracts of ignorance. Son of the lineage, for example, a medicinal dharani mantra and all medicines are collected and made, touching or seeing or associating with it can also pacify the diseases of sentient beings. Similarly, the aspiration of the mind of enlightenment and the body of wisdom, accomplished from the collection of roots of virtue and the mantra of wisdom and means and all medicines, possessing the mind of enlightenment, hearing or seeing or associating with or remembering it, can also pacify the diseases of afflictions of sentient beings. Son of the lineage, for example, a garment with the characteristic of cleanliness is not stained by all the faults of mud. Similarly, a garment with the characteristic of cleanliness of the mind of enlightenment is not defiled by all the faults of the mud of afflictions of samsara. Son of the lineage, for example, a wooden image whose head is nailed with a nail will not be completely separated, and can also do all things. Similarly, the head of the body of wisdom aspiring for omniscience, nailed with the nail of the aspiration of generating the mind for enlightenment, also has the power for all the deeds of a Bodhisattva, because it is a body accomplished from the wisdom of the aspiration of omniscience, so it will not be completely separated. Son of the lineage, for example, a wheel without a nail, even if it is the wooden part itself, is necessary.
