Hundreds of thousands of countless demon kings, dwelling in the ocean, and based on the boundaries of the four continents' world, consuming and drinking flesh and blood as food, moving in the water, and the radiance of the assemblies of mountain deer, livestock, birds, cows, horses, elephants, donkeys, men, and women being taken away, possessing various thoughts of hateful minds, constantly harming and offending beings, those who were engaged in strife, also possessed loving-kindness and a firm mind of benefiting others, their faces were extremely joyful, and they did not harm or offend all beings, entering into the state of observing the afterlife, they joined their palms and with extremely joyful minds, bowed down and prostrated in the direction where the great light king was. They also experienced immense and incomparable happiness of body and mind. Hundreds of thousands of Yakshas and Kumbhandas, as well as flesh-eaters and demon kings, also possessed loving-kindness and a firm mind of benefiting others, their faces were extremely joyful, and they did not harm or offend all beings, entering into the state of observing the afterlife, they joined their palms and with extremely joyful minds, bowed and prostrated in the direction where the great light king was, and they also experienced immense and incomparable happiness of body and mind. Then, King Great Light arose from that samadhi and said to the merchant's son, Norzang: Son of good family, I have only come to know this banner of great loving-kindness, the door of wisdom light of the Bodhisattva's conduct. I, as a Bodhisattva, fill all realms of the world with thoughts of happiness, possessing the immeasurable umbrella of great loving-kindness, possessing inseparable retinues, with all beings becoming retinues, entering into completely saving all beings through the union of superior, middling, and inferior, entering into completely holding all beings, possessing a loving heart like the earth, the rays of merit and wisdom arising in all beings, becoming like the waxing full moon. In order to illuminate all knowable things with the light of wisdom, becoming like the disc of the sun. Completely dispelling the thick darkness in the hearts of all sentient beings, becoming like a great lamp. Eliminating the agitation and obstacles of the ocean of minds of all sentient beings, like a precious water-clearing gem. Completely fulfilling the thoughts and aspirations of all beings, like a wish-fulfilling jewel king. All beings abide in the house of samadhi and absorption, and the great palace of omniscience, like a great wind. To know those practices, or to praise the qualities, or to measure the mountain of merit, or to look at the sky adorned with the multitude of stars of virtue, or to draw boundaries from the mandala of the great aspiration wind, or to measure the power of the equality of Dharma, or to fully praise the adornment of the Great Vehicle, or to describe the distinctions of the conduct of Samantabhadra, or the Bodhicitta.
