Therefore, this great city, Radiant Splendor, also appears to them according to the manner in which their thoughts are purified. To some, it appears narrow. To some, it appears vast. To some, it appears to be situated on the ground. To some, it appears to be made of precious vaidurya. To some, it appears to be surrounded by earthen walls. To some, it appears to be surrounded by walls of precious, indestructible vajra banners. To some, it appears to be filled with tiles and gravel, with steep slopes, ravines, and many cliffs. To some, it appears to be adorned and spread with countless precious and excellent jewels, and the ground is as level as the palm of a hand. To some, it appears to be made of earth. To some, it appears to be adorned with countless precious houses, immeasurable mansions, magnificent houses, storied houses, rooftops, balconies, star windows, and precious crescent-shaped lion nets. To the beings dwelling outside the city, when I previously practiced the conduct of a bodhisattva, having completely gathered them with the four objects of gathering, generating pure thoughts and roots of virtue, attending to many Buddhas, having faith in omniscience, and being completely inclined towards omniscience, to them also it appears to be made of precious jewels. To others who are not like that, it appears to be made of earth. Son of good family, when the beings dwelling in my realm, in countries, regions, cities, towns, districts, and kingdoms, and in the palaces of kings, are disturbed by the nature of the age of the five degenerations, and desire to create a path of the ten non-virtuous actions, at that time, with the mind to benefit them, I enter into the bodhisattva's samadhi called 'The Power of the World,' which is preceded by great love. Son of good family, when I have thus entered into that samadhi, in that very instant, those beings' fears, discomforts, anxieties, quarrels and disputes, mental confusions, and harmful intentions are also [removed] by the bodhisattva's samadhi, 'The Power of the World.'

My crest, with great compassion as the guide, having obtained such a Dharma nature, became extremely peaceful! Became nearly peaceful! Completely ceased! Extinguished! Son of the lineage, wait a moment, and (everything) will become manifest. Then, King Great Light, at that time, will equally place the Bodhisattva's Samadhi, with great compassion as the guide, on the crest of the Lord of the World. Thus, King Great Light, having placed the Bodhisattva's Samadhi, with great compassion as the guide, equally on the crest of the Lord of the World, as soon as he placed it, in that instant, the great city of Excellent Light, together with its regions and directions, cities and towns, districts and lands, and the retinue of the king's palace, shook in six ways. When it shook, those jewel fences and jewel houses, and jewel essences, and jewel homes, and jewel dwellings, and jewel immeasurable palaces, and jewel storied houses, and jewel eaves, and jewel pillars, and jewel windows, and jewel platforms, and jewel stables, and jewel crescent decorations, and jewel lion nets, and jewel railings, and jewel grains, and jewel banners, and the nets of tinkling bells strung with jewel threads, and jewel bells, and jewel victory banners, and jewel flags, and jewel palm trees, those also shook violently, emitting sounds! Shaking violently! Those, emitting sounds in that way, pleasing and melodious, uttering sounds that were pleasant to hear, bowed down and paid homage to where King Great Light was. Within the great city of Excellent Light, all the sentient beings who resided there, filled with joy and delight, separately appeared and looked at where King Great Light was, prostrating and paying homage with their whole bodies! Those residing in the villages and cities of that region, and the districts and lands and regions, and the retinue of the king's palace, also became happy in body and mind, giving rise to joy and delight.

萨！ 凡是光明大王所在之处，我皆顶礼。所有属于旁生之生的有情，都彼此怀有慈爱之心和利益之心，向光明大王所在之处瞻仰并恭敬顶礼。所有高山峻岭之地，都向光明大王所在之处恭敬顶礼。花树、果树、叶树、种子之聚、生起之聚、庄稼、菜园、根和块茎、药材和森林，都向光明大王所在之处瞻仰并恭敬顶礼。在那区域里，所有湖泊、池塘、水洼、水草、河流、大河、水池和水井，都向光明大王所在之处恭敬趋向，并发出波浪的声音。一万个龙王，也从沉淀着黑沉香烟雾的香云中，以闪耀着各种光芒的电光照亮，发出雷鸣之声，并降下极其细微的香水雨。帝释天、双生子、兜率天、乐变化天、自在天王等一万个天子，也安住在上方的虚空中，以天界的乐器，发出百千俱胝的悦耳声音，装饰着整个天空，以无数天女唱诵美妙天歌的云朵所发出的悦耳动听的声音来装饰，以下降无数天界珍宝花朵之云的雨来装饰，以下降无数天界香云的各种颜色之云的雨来装饰，以下降无数天界珍宝璎珞之云的雨来装饰，以下降无数天界各种颜色的粉末之云的雨来装饰。

All the lands of high mountains and hills also respectfully prostrate to where the Great Light King is. All the flowering trees, fruit trees, leafy trees, collections of seeds, collections of elements, crops, gardens, roots and tubers, medicines and forests also look towards and respectfully prostrate to where the Great Light King is. In that realm, all the lakes, ponds, puddles, water plants, streams, rivers, pools, and wells, all turn towards where the Great Light King is and emit the sound of waves. Ten thousand Naga kings also illuminate with the light of various flashes of lightning from the clouds of incense, which are settled with the smoke of black agarwood incense, and utter the sound of thunder, and manifestly cause a rain of very fine streams of scented water to fall. Indra, the Twin Gods, Tushita, Nirmanarati, and the King of the Gods of Paranirmitavasavartin, and so on, ten thousand sons of the gods also abide in the sky above, and adorn the entire expanse of the sky with the sound of billions of clouds of celestial musical instruments, greatly proclaiming beautiful melodies, and adorn it with the beautiful and pleasing sound proclaimed by the clouds of countless daughters of the gods singing beautiful celestial songs, and adorn it with the rain of clouds of countless varieties of celestial jewel flowers, and adorn it with the rain of clouds of countless varieties of colored clouds of celestial incense, and adorn it with the rain of clouds of countless varieties of celestial jewel garlands, and adorn it with the rain of clouds of countless varieties of colored powders of celestial substances.
