And, in order to allow sentient beings to freely enjoy the accumulation of many implements and the accumulation of all kinds of implements, many usable and faultless items were arranged. Also seen were thousands of riding cows with golden reins, and many measuring devices for collecting milk for impoverished sentient beings. Also seen were jewel daughters as beautiful as hundreds of thousands of kotis, who were very beautiful, pleasing to the eye, adorned with all kinds of ornaments, wearing celestial jewel clothes, their bodies anointed with celestial sandalwood and serpent heart balm, knowing the ways of the sixty-four arts, and skilled in the practices of desire and all rituals. They were also seen being bestowed and arranged. In front of them, just like that, in order to completely gather sentient beings, to completely take hold of sentient beings, to bring joy to sentient beings, to bring happiness to sentient beings, to fulfill the wishes of sentient beings, to make the minds of sentient beings very happy, to pacify the afflictions of sentient beings, to completely lead sentient beings into the meaning of the nature of Dharma, to make sentient beings equal in meaning in all-knowing wisdom, to avert the resentment of sentient beings towards others, to avert all evil deeds of body and speech, to correctly extract the thorns of the views of sentient beings, and to completely purify the paths of sentient beings. It was the same at the crossroads of streets and roads, at the junctions of roads, and at gates and courtyards. On the left and right sides of each street, on about twenty kotis of platforms, all kinds of implements were piled up and arrangements were seen. Then, the merchant's son Norzang prostrated to King Light with his whole body, circumambulated King Light hundreds of thousands of times to the right, and then sat in front of the king, joining his palms and saying: Holy one, now that I have generated the unsurpassed, perfectly complete Bodhicitta, how should a Bodhisattva train in the conduct of a Bodhisattva, and how should I diligently practice?

I heard that the Holy One gives instructions and guidance to the Bodhisattvas. I ask the Holy One, how should a Bodhisattva train in the conduct of a Bodhisattva, and how should they be diligent? He replied: Son of good family, I am the banner of great love, the conduct of a Bodhisattva, completely pure and completely perfect. Son of good family, I have also asked, inquired, purified, completely purified, arranged, observed, examined, sought, completely examined, written, and extensively proclaimed this banner of great love, the conduct of a Bodhisattva, from countless hundreds of thousands of Buddhas, countless thousands of Buddhas, countless hundreds of thousands of Buddhas, countless billions of hundreds of thousands of Buddhas, even to unspeakable and unspeakable Buddhas, the Bhagavan. Son of good family, thus I abide in this banner of great love, the conduct of a Bodhisattva, and in accordance with the Dharma, I protect and show my mind. In accordance with the Dharma, I benefit the world. In accordance with the Dharma, I follow the world. In accordance with the Dharma, I tame sentient beings. In accordance with the Dharma, I am diligent towards sentient beings. I place sentient beings in the mandala of Dharma. I closely cultivate the principles of Dharma for sentient beings. In accordance with the Dharma, I admonish sentient beings. I unite sentient beings in the diligence of Dharma. I cause sentient beings to generate certainty in the nature of Dharma. With the mind of love, the power of great love, the strength of love, the mind of benefit, the mind of happiness, the mind of compassion, the mind of help, the mind of complete protection, the mind of not abandoning the holding of sentient beings, and the constant and uninterrupted aspiration to avert all suffering, I cause sentient beings to rejoice in the ultimate perfection of happiness, and constantly and uninterruptedly practice the right conduct. By correctly generating the bliss of ease, I cause

It also makes the bodies of those sentient beings extremely happy. It also transforms their minds that are attached to the happiness of samsara. It also makes their minds completely absorbed in the joy and devotion of the Dharma. It also completely purifies them from all defilements of afflictions. It also completely purifies them from all non-virtuous dharmas. It also completely transforms them from the continuation of samsara. It also completely immerses them in the ocean of the nature of the Dharmadhatu. In order to cut off all births in the continuum of the path of existence, they completely burn away the ignorance of the mind. In order to attain the fruit of omniscience, they generate the sprouts of their minds. In order to truly generate the power of unassailable faith, they also make the ocean of their minds extremely clear. Son of the lineage, thus I abide in the victory banner of the great compassion of the bodhisattva's conduct, and protect and teach the world in accordance with the Dharma. Son of the lineage, the sentient beings who abide in my realm, I do not make them afraid or fearful, nor do I make them shy or timid. Son of the lineage, any sentient being who is afflicted and oppressed by various necessities, wanting food, or wanting drink, or wanting clothes, or wanting all kinds of necessities, whatever they want, they will all come to me. I also open the door of the treasure that I have prepared in advance for them, saying: Take whatever you want! For what reason do you engage in sinful deeds? Killing, or taking what is not given, or engaging in sexual misconduct, or lying, or divisive speech, or harsh speech, or idle chatter, or greed, or malice, or wrong view, or manifest attachment to various kinds of unreal views, all of those are also piled up in the gates and, streets and, courtyards and, crossroads and, four-way intersections of this great city of Light and Goodness, and have been given long ago. Whoever wants anything, take it! Thus proclaiming and giving. Son of the lineage, how many sentient beings abide in this city of Light and Goodness, all of them are bodhisattvas, that is, those who have entered the Great Vehicle.
