How to learn and how to diligently practice, I do not know. The Blessed One gives instructions and guidance to the Bodhisattvas. Thus I have heard. How should a Bodhisattva learn the conduct of a Bodhisattva, and how should he diligently practice? Please, Blessed One, instruct me. He said: Son of good family, I act by the blessing of truth. By the word of truth, no matter when or where, no Bodhisattva will ever turn back from unsurpassed, perfect and complete enlightenment. By the blessing of the word of truth, if I say, 'May this and this need of mine be accomplished,' then all my thoughts will be fulfilled accordingly. Son of good family, I accomplish all needs by such a blessing of truth. Son of good family, I only know this blessing of truth. How could I know or describe the conduct and qualities of those who have obtained the excellent words that follow the truth of the Bodhisattvas? Go, son of good family, in this southern direction there is a city called 'Gate of Delight.' There live a boy named Auspicious Birth and a girl named Auspicious Intelligence. Go to them and ask how a Bodhisattva should learn the conduct of a Bodhisattva, and how he should diligently practice. Then, the son of the merchant, Good Wealth, greatly increased his reverence for the Dharma, bowed his head to the feet of the Brahmin Peaceful Holder, and to the Brahmin Peaceful Holder a hundred thousand times right

Not knowing how to diligently practice, the noble ones give instructions and guidance to the Bodhisattvas. Having heard this, I request the noble ones to instruct me on how a Bodhisattva should study the conduct of a Bodhisattva, and how to diligently practice. Then, the boy Auspicious Birth and the girl Auspicious Wisdom said to the merchant's son Sudhana: "Son of good family, we two have attained the liberation of the Bodhisattva called the aspect of illusion, and have realized it. Son of good family, thus, we possess this liberation, therefore we see all the world as illusion, arising from the cause and condition of illusion. Knowing karma and afflictions as illusion, we also know all sentient beings as illusion. Arising from the cause of ignorance, existence, and desire, we see all beings as illusion. Arising from the cause of mutual dependent origination, we see all dharmas as illusion. Arising from the illusion of perversion, we see all three realms as illusion. Arising from the cause of unreal conceptualization, we see the death, transmigration, appearance, birth, aging, death, sorrow, lamentation, suffering, displeasure, and confusion of all sentient beings as illusion. Due to the cause of inverted perceptions, minds, and views, being deluded by the perception of non-existence, and arising from this, we see all fields as illusion. Observing from the cause of abandonment by wisdom, and arising from this, we see all Hearers and Solitary Buddhas as illusion. Accomplished from the manifestation of illusion, with the conduct of emanation and the nature of taming illusion, the conduct of the Bodhisattva, and the ripening of sentient beings through aspiration, and the transmission of one tamer to another, are also known as like the aspect of illusion. Manifestly accomplished by the illusion of aspiration and wisdom, because the inconceivable realm is the nature of illusion, we see the mandala of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas as illusion.

Yes. Son of good family, we two have only understood this illusory nature of the liberation of Bodhisattvas. How could we understand the networks accomplished by Bodhisattvas through infinite illusions, and be able to describe their conduct and qualities? Then, the boy Auspicious Birth and the girl Auspicious Intelligence moistened the merchant's son Wealthy Good with inconceivable powerful roots of virtue, and showed their own realm of liberation, saying: Go, son of good family, in this southern region, at the place of the directional gate called the seashore, there is a great and magnificent place called the Grove of Garment Trees. Inside it is a great multi-storied house called the Essence Adorned with Vairocana's Adornments, which is manifestly accomplished from the maturation of the Bodhisattva's roots of virtue, arising from the Bodhisattva's mind and thoughts, manifestly born from the Bodhisattva's aspirations, arising from the Bodhisattva's power, emanated by the power of the Bodhisattva's direct cognition wisdom, arising from the Bodhisattva's skillful means, perfected by the power of the Bodhisattva's merit and wisdom, shown by the Bodhisattva's great compassion for the purpose of taming sentient beings, accomplished by the Bodhisattva's blessings, adorned with the ornaments of entering the Bodhisattva's inconceivable state of liberation. There, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Maitreya, in order to take care of the people who dwell in the place of birth, to fully mature those who have become fathers, mothers, and relatives, to make the Great Vehicle of the Bodhisattvas born there with equal fortune very stable, to fully mature other sentient beings who are not of the same kind with roots of virtue in the places where they are suitable, to fully show the way to enter their own way of liberation, to highly praise all those who have mastered the birth of Bodhisattvas, and to focus their minds on fully showing the birth of all sentient beings.
