Moreover, all the qualities of the Bodhisattva, endowed with the voice of the Buddha's speech, emanated as sound and became renowned from those mandalas of light-gates, this was the appearance of the tenth omen. When the time for the Bodhisattva's birth arrived, these ten omens appeared. Because of their appearance, all the lords of the world knew that a Bodhisattva would arise. Son of good family, in that way, I, having seen those ten omens, also obtained immeasurable joy. Because of their appearance, the joy of limitless beings increased through the light of the Dharma of omniscience. What are the ten? Like this: all the jeweled mansions situated on the earth appeared extensively. All the appearances of the Bodhisattvas of the ten directions initially generating the mind of enlightenment also appeared in this Lumbini grove and manifestly arose. Son of the lineage, this is the miraculous manifestation of the birth of a Bodhisattva, which occurred for the second time in the Lumbini Grove. Son of the lineage, furthermore, when each and every pore of all the pores of the goddess Maya possessed the conduct of the previous Bodhisattvas, the Blessed One revered and honored how many Tathagatas, served, respected, and venerated, and all those offerings were also completely manifested. All the Dharma that those Tathagatas taught also emanated from those pores, completely possessing the limbs of the Buddha's speech and were proclaimed without remainder. For example, in a small cup of water, or in a tiny speck of gold, or in a very clear mirror, or in very clear water, the center of the sky, adorned with the collection of the sun and moon and stars, and even the collection of clouds emitting deep thunder, would also appear as images. Son of the lineage, likewise, in the center of all the pores of the goddess Maya, the miraculous manifestations of the previous Tathagatas were also completely manifested, and all the sounds of teaching the Dharma were also proclaimed.
