Like the path of a mother, walking truthfully, with an unattached mind also possessing purity. Comprehending the gait of the victorious ones who traverse all, seeing the emanations of the victorious ones in all realms. Your mind is like the sky, difficult to fathom, free from the defilements of all afflictions from the beginning. There, all the realms arising in the three times, gather together with all the Buddhas, Bodhisattvas, and all sentient beings. In a single instant, days and nights are momentary, in a momentary instant, years and kalpas of formation and destruction, as well as oceans of kalpas, oceans of names and numbers, and also the oceans of consciousness of beings, are all comprehended. In all directions, the births and deaths of sentient beings, and whether they have form or are formless, whether they have consciousness or are without consciousness, the truth of their conduct is comprehended, and they are shown the path and established in supreme Bodhi. Born from the lineage of Vairochana's aspiration. Truly born from the single form of all Sugatas. You are the pure Dharmakaya, without any attachment in your heart. In all worlds, you manifest forms as you wish. Then, the merchant's son Norzang praised the night goddess who protects all cities, the splendor of arising glory, with verses similar in form. He bowed his head to the feet of the night goddess who protects all cities, the splendor of arising glory, circumambulated the night goddess who protects all cities, the splendor of arising glory, hundreds of thousands of times, gazed upon her repeatedly, and then departed from the presence of the night goddess who protects all cities, the splendor of arising glory. || The Sutra Called the Great Extensive Sutra of the Wondrous Buddhas, Volume Ten. Then, the merchant's son Norzang further cultivated the liberation of the Bodhisattva, which is the pleasing sound and entering into profound transformations, with even greater breadth, and generated faith, and greatly expanded it. He went to where the night goddess happily resided amidst the blooming flowers of all trees, with all precious incense.

In a tiered house of tree branches, seated upon a lion throne made of the essence of tree saplings, I saw the Night Goddess surrounded by ten thousand handmaidens. Then, the merchant's son, Norzang, bowed his head to the feet of the Night Goddess, who dwelt in bliss amidst the blooming flowers of all trees. He sat before her, joined his palms, and spoke thus: "Goddess, if I generate the mind of unsurpassed, perfectly complete enlightenment, how do Bodhisattvas practice the conduct of Bodhisattvas? How do they learn? How do they practice and how do they learn, and how do they attain omniscience? Please tell me." Having spoken thus, the Night Goddess, who dwelt in bliss amidst the blooming flowers of all trees, spoke thus to the merchant's son, Norzang: "Son of good family, by my power, in the realm of the Saha world, when the sun sets, even the fully bloomed lotuses will close. Men and women dwelling in food-tree hedges, devoted to joyful play, will also generate the thought of returning home. Beings wandering in roads and alleys will also think of their night's abode, seeking and going to all places of dwelling. Beings relying on forests, crevices, and caves will also go to forests, crevices, and caves. Beings dwelling in trees will also manifestly rely on tree dwellings. Beings dwelling in holes will also go to holes. Beings dwelling in villages, towns, regions, and countries will also go to villages, towns, regions, and countries. Beings dwelling in water will also go to water. Beings who have gone to other places will also generate the thought of their respective homeward directions for the sake of dwelling in peace and joy at night. Son of good family, furthermore, I cause young and vigorous men and women, intoxicated by the vigor of youth, intoxicated by the joy of song, dance, and music, delighting in the qualities of desire, and terrified by the great darkness of birth, aging, death, and delusion."

In order to counteract the opposing factors and fully generate the roots of virtue, praise is offered with the excellence of diligence. For beings who are miserly, they are thoroughly engaged in generosity. For beings who have bad morality, they are thoroughly established in morality. For beings who have malicious thoughts, the goodness of loving-kindness is proclaimed. For beings whose minds are disturbed, they are thoroughly established in patience. For beings who are lazy, they are thoroughly engaged in the diligence of a Bodhisattva. For beings whose minds are intoxicated, they are thoroughly established in meditation. For beings who have perverse wisdom, they are completely engaged in the perfection of wisdom. For beings who are devoted to the lower vehicle, they are thoroughly established in the Great Vehicle. For beings who are manifestly attached to the three realms, they are thoroughly engaged in the Bodhisattva's perfection of aspiration, engaged in practicing in the mandala that exhausts the cycle of existence. For beings who are controlled by objects, tormented by karma and afflictions, and lack the power of merit and wisdom, they are thoroughly engaged in the Bodhisattva's perfection of power. For beings covered by the darkness of ignorance, confused in the darkness of ignorance by what is to be taken as self and what belongs to self, they are thoroughly engaged in the Bodhisattva's perfection of wisdom. Son of good family, furthermore, I have obtained the liberation of a Bodhisattva, which is the joyous light radiating widely, truly appearing. Sudhana said: Goddess, what is the realm of the Bodhisattva's liberation, which is the joyous light radiating widely, truly appearing? Son of good family, that liberation is endowed with the wisdom and skillful means by which the Thus-Gone One gathers beings with merit. Why is that? Son of good family, all the happiness that beings experience arises from the power of the Thus-Gone One's merit. It arises from the manner of the Thus-Gone One's instructions. It arises from diligently attending to the Thus-Gone One's words. It is the Thus-Gone One's...
