There is a monk named Ocean Cloud. Go to him and ask how a Bodhisattva should train in the conduct of a Bodhisattva, and how to be diligent. Son of good family, that virtuous friend will fully show you the accumulation of roots of virtue and the causes. Through accumulation, one can also comprehend the vastness. It also fully increases the power of the roots of virtue and the great strength. The accumulation and causes of the mind of enlightenment will also be fully explained. It also generates the vast appearance of attaining the Great Vehicle and manifestation. It also fully demonstrates the great power of the accumulation of perfections. It also fully narrates the way to enter the ocean of conduct. It also completely purifies the vast circle of aspirations. It also purifies the vast adornments that arise from all doors. It also fully increases the power of great compassion. Then, the merchant's son Norzang bowed to the feet of the monk Cloud Auspicious with his head, circumambulated the monk Cloud Auspicious hundreds of thousands of times to the right, and looked back hundreds of thousands of times, and then departed from the presence of the monk Cloud Auspicious. The Sutra Called "The Wonderfully Vast and Greatly Flourishing Buddha," the twenty-eighth chapter. Then, the merchant's son Norzang contemplated the instructions of the virtuous friend in this way, remembered the light of wisdom, examined the liberation of the Bodhisattva, practiced the samadhi of the Bodhisattva, observed the conduct of the Bodhisattva like the ocean, generated faith in the mandala of the Buddha, generated joy in the direction of gazing at the Buddha, contemplated the Buddha's ocean-like depth, remembered the lineage of the Buddha from one to another, comprehended the conduct of the Buddha, and observed the Buddha's sky.

Then, sitting in front of Bhikshu Ocean Cloud, he joined his palms and spoke thus: Holy One, I, in order to attain the unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment, wish to enter the unsurpassed ocean of wisdom. How can Bodhisattvas turn away from the lineage of the world and accomplish the Tathagata lineage? How can they cross the ocean of samsara and enter the ocean of omniscience? How can they rise above the ground of ordinary people and accomplish the Tathagata lineage? How can they turn away from the lineage of samsara and enter the lineage of Bodhisattva conduct? How can they turn away from the wheel of the lineage of the ocean of samsara and enter the wheel of Bodhisattva conduct and aspiration? How can they completely destroy all the mandalas of demons and fully reveal the appearance of all the mandalas of Buddhas? How can they completely dry up the ocean of existence and increase the ocean of great compassion? How can they close all the doors of unfavorable circumstances, evil destinies, bad paths, and wrong views, and open the doors to heaven and nirvana? How can they destroy the gates of the city of the three realms and open the gates of the palace of omniscience? How can they completely abandon the attachment to all resources and generate the aspiration to gather all sentient beings? I do not know! After saying this, Bhikshu Ocean Cloud said to the merchant's son Sudhana: Noble son, it is excellent, excellent that you have thus generated the mind of unsurpassed perfect complete enlightenment!
