Entangled tightly by the chains and snares of craving, Obstructed by the faults of deceit and trickery, Eyes blinded by doubt and indecision, Thoroughly entered the path of wrong and inverted views. Bound and tied by the ropes of jealousy and miserliness, No respite in the realms of hungry ghosts, animals, and hells, Tormented by aging, death, sickness, and birth, Ignorant and confused, revolving endlessly in the cycle of existence. To that, you, with pure compassion, Mandala, Manifest the light of wisdom's rays. Rising like the sun to dry up the ocean of afflictions, Like the sun, please illuminate me. By meditating on loving-kindness, the mandala is perfected and full, Virtue radiates the light of the moon, scattering bliss, Rising in the abodes of all sentient beings, Like the full moon, please illuminate me. Possessing the power of whiteness, completely accumulating all treasures, Unattached in the expanse of the Dharma realm, Leading with the precious wheel of Dharma, Having become the king, please reveal it to me. Possessing the power of the aspiration of the Bodhi vehicle, Extensively accumulating merit and wisdom, Entering into the purpose of benefiting all sentient beings, Great captain, please guide me as well. Equipped with the armor of patience, firm and strong, Possessing the sharp blade of wisdom and the long arm of compassion, To the assembled forces of the appearing demons, Great hero, please dispel them for me as well. Steadfastly abiding on the Dharma mountain like Mount Meru, Surrounded by the goddesses of supreme samadhi, Taming the afflictive Rahu and Asuras, Having become Indra, please look upon me. In the house of the three realms, the abode of children, Knowing how to eliminate afflictions and karma, To the confusion of the ground of causes and the path, Like a lamp, please show me the way. Completely reversing the paths of the lower realms, Completely purifying the paths to happiness, Transcending the cause of all worldly paths, Please also reveal to me the gate of liberation.
